I am absolutely in shock that Katherine McPhee could be in the final three!!!Bucky wasn't in the final three? He has been the poorest contestant overall; Ace got more votes than Katharine? Kelly Pickler scored ahead of Katherine? I am in shock at America! Let's face it ---Katherine has a fantastic voice. I am really getting disgusted at how the votes are going. Maybe it is the solar eclipse---but something is definitely weird.

Wow, wow, and wow. First, Kellie is safe. Then Katharine is in the bottom three. Then Ace is safe. Holy shit! Just think if Lisa has not been there... Katharine would be gone! This is sad. Stunned as I was, it didn't surprise me THAT much after reading so many negative comments about her last performance, but it's still sad.

Aye... Still disgusting, though, after reading so many posts about how people were going to vote for Ace just so they could drool for a while longer. Even the Kellie thing isn't so annoying. Meanwhile, they dislike Katharine because they don't know what "out of tune" means any more than Kellie knows what a "ghastly" is.

How do you know that Bucky, Ace, and Pickler received more votes than Kat? How many votes did each contestant get anyway? Oh yeah, that's right AI doesn't release the actual vote count. After all why would Fox lie to its viewers?

I think we need to not count on that. We need to all pull together and vote for Katharine as much as possible. Unfortunately, Katharine fans probably don't have as much time or patience as six-year-old girls for dialing the same number over and over.

Sorry but not people or viewers like katherine. I like her song and her voice but not her overall personality and so read the message boards. Kelli Pickler may be in the bottem if she does not straighten up and fly right. Bucky had a good song this week which is him. Lisa had a very good voice and she does not need American Idol.

AOL always has a vote thing about idol and Katharine was #1. I find it hard to believe there is that much of a difference between the actually voting and a very large AOL poll.

I'm sure some of the Kevien votes went to Kellie and Ace.... now where does Lisa's votes go???

I am not surprised that Katharine was in the bottom 3. Nothing is wrong with America. It's just that Katharine doesn't have much of a fan club and she didn't sing all that well that night. Katharine's voice is much too common and I feel like she doesn't sing naturally. I do agree that there are worse singers than Katharine in the competition so far, but then again, she just doesn't have much of a fan club.

We MUST VOTE! I voted (only 25 this week) for Katharine, but could have given her a lot more while waiting for Taylor's line to not be busy! In fact, Katharine was one of the best Tuesday night. None of them showed their potential this past Tuesday, but Katharine and Taylor were the best. I don't understand how one cannot like Katharine, as she has the whole package, including a fantastic voice. I hope she goes all the way to the finals...

I dont vote for Katharine but agree with you, She has a nice voice and I was very surprised she was in the bottom three. I think I read someone earlier make a very good point. Rockers vote for rockers, country for country and so on. Katharine really doesn't fit into a "group" I dont mean that in a negative way, I just mean that some people listen to a voice and vote for who they like the best. Others pick the rocker with the best voice. This sometimes gives them a larger fan base. I think if Katharine would fall into a category it would help her. But I vote for Chris, Taylor and Ace.

Katharine won't be "falling into" any such category. That wouldn't make a lick of sense. If she loses votes for doing what she does, so be it. I don't want her music to be manufactured for the pubilc. What a waste of talent that would be. I hope she will write some great songs with little or no help from anyone.

I agree with Helen...Katherine is awesome, but her personality is not very memorable. American Idol is defintely all about the personality. If you look at Nashville Star, every single person in the top 12 is an AMAZING singer. There are no Chicken Littles, Buckys, or Kellies in that show.

Excellent observation, to a degree. America suffers from a very short-term memory, so it's better to be remembered than just to sit in the cuff. Having apathy towards a contestant is just as damaging as not liking a contestant, for the simple fact that having no opinion and having a negative opinion results in the same thing: a non-vote.

id have to disagree i feel differant,i only like one liked one of the singers in nashville star, and i can not remember any of there names, i know all ai top 12 names.i would possabily go to any of the ai concerts,but majority wise would not want to go yo the nashvillee t0p 12. however there is one guy there i really do like. i also feel that ai has amazing talent this year. ifeel ns is not yet even anywhere in comparison to ai. ai i stay home for and plan to watch it ns is something i will watch if i catch it on tv.

It's not JUST on personality - HELLO! It's a singing competition. Kelly Clarkson & Carrie Underwood wouldn't be Grammy Winners and wouldn't have recorded #1 records if they weren't good SINGERS!!!

Guess what, I didnt vote for Katharine. My husband didnt, my sister didnt, my best friend didnt, my mother-in-law didnt, my aunt didnt. You did but that doesnt mean the rest of the world loves her. Katharine wouldnt have been the the bottom 3 if she got the votes. All of us (unless we voted for the winner for 5 years) had favorites voted off. Its called taste....everybodys is different.

Not Ace! He is beautiful! I hope he makes it until the end! In my opinion Katherine and Ace are the BEST Singers! And the most attractive contestants!
