Bonanza is my favorite. I laugh when I think about it, we used to argue about how many times Chuck Conners would fire off the bullets at the start of Rifeman remember that?? LOL We would all gather around the tv and each of us had a different number when he finished firing.
Do you guys remember a tv show called It Takes A Thief? with Robert Wagner? Man I loved that show I though he was so cool.
I also liked Big Valley, had a crush on Nick Barkley.

Eil,
That is sweet about Carol's wife sending a card. My most fav. eposide on All in the Family was when Archie and Meathead were stuck in the celler and got drunk together....Archie revealed he was teased as a child they called him Shoebootie remember? I get teary eyed every time I watch that because he showed us why he was the way he was...that was a wonderful show.
Oh yeah....Adam started with the original Bonanza cast but only lasted about 2-3 years he wanted more money and they let him go. Candy than joined up but he was just like an "adopted right hand" on the Ponterosa. I never cared much for the last shows called The Ponterosa they just weren't as good as the original first 5 years. I have seen the episode where Hoss's mom was introduced and Adam's mom but never seen an episode where Little Joe was introduced. Have you Sligh Dog?? You seen too know alot about the older shows. I recently got my hands on the original 3 years all eposides of It Takes A Thief, starring Robert Wagner. I loved that show remember that one? I heard Will Smith has been picked to play Alexander Mundy in a remake of it. Personally I don't see him as Al Mundy...a better choice would be Hugh Jackman she much more swave and playboy type. What do you think?

I remember that episode. I like the episodes were Mike and Archie got along.
The episode that made me cry was when Mike and Gloria were leaving the show so they ended their parts with them moving to California. I just bawled seeing Archie and Mike saying goodbye and then Edith and Gloria. The acting was so real! And at the very end of that episode Edith is in the kitchen crying and she comes out and see's Archie wiping his eyes, so Edith slips back into the kitchen and yells Archie I have your beer, to give him time to collect himself. That made me cry! Another episode that was very sad was Edith dying but the only thing I can remember of that episode is Archie looking at their bed because he was missing Edith? Does anyone remember that episode?

Edith's friend, who was the cross dresser and was killed made me cry too.

Also, Maude and Lionel was excellent in that show. Even now I think of some of the episodesand laugh now thats a great show!

The original Lionel died not too long ago.

A funny episode for me is when Edith thought she was answering an ad in the paper to meet friends but it was an ad to meet "Swingers." They came over to meet Edith and Archie and put the moves on them.

Oh Happy days I actually went to a party with Ted McGinley we were lost on an elevator trying to find our way to the party...he is very nice and spent his time talking to us instead of the big wigs at the party......it was for The March Of Dimes....

Seasons 8 onward

Lynda Goodfriend joined the cast as semi-regular character Lori-Beth Allen, Richie's steady girlfriend, in season 5, and became a permanent member of the cast between Seasons 8 and 10, after Lori-Beth married Richie.

After Ron Howard (Richie) left the series, Ted McGinley joined the cast as Roger Phillips the new Physical Education teacher at Jefferson High and nephew to Howard and Marion. He took over from the departed Richie Cunningham character, acting as counterpoint to Fonzie.

Billy Warlock joined the cast in season 10 as Roger's brother Flip, along with Crystal Bernard as Howard's and Marion's niece K.C. They were intended as replacements for Erin Moran and Scott Baio (who departed for their own show, Joanie Loves Chachi). Both characters left with the return of Moran and Baio, following the cancellation of Joanie Loves Chachi.

i wish they show it sometimes on saturdays. I am so sick of informational commecials. What a waste of air time. I know that cable gives a bigger selection, but I don't think we should have to pay 40 dollars a month for decent tv. They could put old movies on saturday and sunday or show some decent old series on LOCAL channels. I would love to be a tv programmer, but no!!! you have to have a college degree in whatever.
