I know it is in LA, but where exactely is it? What is the name of the theater?

American Idol is held at the Kodak Theatre. It is right next to Gromans Chinese Theatre and in the same complex where the hotel is located that all the shows use in L.A. We won tickets to go see the finale of the first idol when Kelly Clarkson won :)

Actually the finale is the only show at the Kodak theater the weekly shows are broadcasts at:
CBS Television City in Hollywood
