Sandy is needed for balance

I see that Sandy has resigned her position as our resident ultra-conservative political poster. I for one will view this board as a little less interesting, and not as much fun without her.

Even though I failed to agree with just about 99% of what she posted, I did enjoy her pit bull demeanor in defending her beliefs.

I believe that she brought balance to this forum, and incited others to investigate their own belief systems.

Some here will declare good riddance to her exiting. I for one will miss her.

Agree with you Frankie. I didn't agree with some of what she posted, but the debate was interesting. Next time you see her tell her to come back.

Actually, she was a pretty nice person behind the scenes. I know I'm not the only one on here, who she PM'd frequently. She has a great sense of humor, and a very warm personality. She also has a big heart.

I don't agree with everything she came up with, or how she delivered her message, just like I don't agree with you, or anyone else alot of the times. However, I did respect that she didn't compromise her beliefs for anybody, including me. She had the guts to call it like she sees it, and didn't straddle the fence. She also did her homework on alot the topics that were brought up, and didn't just talk out of her ass, like some people do. If being against Islam, homosexuality, illegal immigrants, and criminals makes her a racist hate monger, then I guess I am one too. Everybody that's been here a while, knows how I feel about those things, so there's no need for me to debate them anymore.

As for being close friends, there's only two people on this whole site, whom I would consider a close friend, and they know who they are. These are people who I consider friends for life. And, that's because we've been through so much together, and have a very strong connection. Although, Sandy and I enjoyed each other's company, we don't have that relationship. But, she was a good friend, and a good person to talk to and get advice from. We prayed for each other just like friends do, and we still communicate, but not as often.

One thing I did not think was nice at at all was calling illegal immigrants aliens....Come on we all know that is a not kind at all.....that is behaving like a child and being politically correct.....If she did her homework she knew that made her seem like a racist.....I am not a racist or a bigot and I don't go out of my way to be friends with such people but I do try to get them to see the error of their ways! Calling people on the forum tards because we have the gumption to disagree with most of the vile that was put here on the board. Most of what was posted was posted in such a way it was difficult for me being a Christian and having to read a post that was filled with hate.....coming from another Christian and I know as a Christian we love everyone even our enemies....because that is What Jesus Would Do and we are supposed to live our lives as close to how Jesus would as humanly possible...

Actually "illegal alien" is the official term in legislation and the border patrol for a person who has entered the country illegally or is residing in the United States illegally after entering legally, so it's not like she was really saying anything out of the ordinary when she used that term.

I have never heard the term illegal alien or criminal alien before this includes Texas, Nevada, and my friends in California...to me it's not politically correct everywhere I have lived they have said illegal immigrant.....meaning they immigrated to our county illegally...It has a better more friendly term than Alien...

No, her offense was the way she used the term "criminal" alien. She used it for anyone who didn't have a White Anglo Saxon Protestant sounding surname, regardless of whether they were actual criminals or aliens or not. It was bigoted, and that was my beef with that.

And she didn't make that up. Criminal alien is the official term for immigrants who break the law or are incarcerated while in the US.

Retrieve the remains with special pliers, or a vacuum devise, and deposit the waste [or "rubbish"] CAREFULLY into a protective bag, yet utilize care and concern at this point, so to not accidentally puncture, "The Bag".

Then she might have tried to push Jesus ACLU's "caring" scriptures on us as well.
