You know, sometimes a performer just 'does it'. Taylor is one of those - an original. Some of the others are very, very good too.. they're just not as totally original and inimitable as Taylor.

I'd definitely go to a Taylor concert. He's a lot like Eddie Money in command of the stage and strangeness. Maybe even some Joe Walsh insanity without the AI restrictions?

I think you'd come away from a Taylor show as high as a kite, not from any illegal substances, but just on pure energy and joy :)

You are so right! Taylor puts feeling into his songs - doesn't matter what song! He is totally awesome.

I agree, Taylor has what it takes to be an American Idol. He cares about the music, and his fans. When he gets on stage you can just see it in his eyes, music, and performing is what he loves. He will be big time even if he doesn't win, everybody will remember Taylor. I have watched the show, and there are just some contestents you can't even remember but not with Taylor. I also love his performances his dancing it's different but I really enjoy it when he really gets into his music performances. I think American likes that about him too.

Taylor acts like he has MS. He needs to go. Next to Manesa or whatever her name is. She is a fat pig. Bye bye.. Need to eat a full pizza! Maybe two or let's lust make it three.

Let's see in one paragraph you have managed to insult people who are overweight, have a deadly muscular disease,
not to mention the disparaging remarks towards Piggy's and Pizza. Now I may be wrong, but it seems to me that you are compiling huge negative karma points. Just keep looking over your shoulder........DUCK!! :smilies3:

Taylor's appeal is in his "genuine" personality. He doesn't do the posing like Ace - and Paris is starting to do that too which is disheartening.

Taylor does his own thing and so many of us LOVE it! It's kinda like pulling for the underdog who didn't sway to popular opinion and made his own style. How many of us wanted to do that so effortlessly and have people love what we do?!!!!

I totally agree...Taylor's my favorite & he's different not just in terms of appearance but more importantly, in musical style & originality. I share your sentiments about coming away from a Taylor concert high on energy, laraine. Watching him on t.v. is already so fun. :)

And norman1889, please. We can take it if you don't like him but you aren't even able to express your opinions in a remotely intelligent way. It's all just a load of bird-brained shite. Urgh.

Frank buddy...this isn't about Karma. It's about talent and stage persona. Taylor looks like he is about to take a giant BM while Madesa looks like a giant BM. Idol...a person to emulate. Now if you want to be like either one of them, that's fine.

I want to be able to enjoy what I listen to and at what I look. Neither one of them cuts it. Put 'em both behind the Wizard's screen and we'll be ok. Kathryn is hot and has a great voice. That's the choice to make.

Norman, So your favorite color is pink!
Well that's my favorite color, so yours must be the same!
Since we all must like the same music, performer then we all must like the color Pink!!!!

Ooh..how about this? I think all of us must love ol' skool rock music because I love it! We should all be long-haired, headbanging rockers with black eyeliner, ripped jeans & tattered vintage sneakers. Why? Because I'm one & we should all be the same! Yippee!

Well, all I can say is Kathryn was in the bottom three so apparently hot she's not.

All I can say is, its a good job we don't all like the same thing, it would be a boring old world and so would this forum, cos we'd all be agreeing with everyone all the time..
