I have seen a lot of dislike in the local press here in Houston for my man Chris. That he sounds like other performers, that he actually did not make the Johnny Cash his own. Please, like he would be the first person to sound like another band or tap someone else’s sound, which by the way he did not say he made it his own. Chris is the best singer/entertainer up there and he will make a mint doing his job whether he wins or not. If Britney Spears can make it I think we all have a chance, but lay off o'l Chris he's just singing. Anyway, what would you expect from two hasbeens and one nobody judge.

Two Has beens and a nobody? You give the judges way too much credit and power. They are just window dressing for the show. If they actually influence voters decisions, those people should learn to trust their instincts. My favorite is also Chris, but I do think that he is going to have to sing a ballad sooner or later. He needs to distance himself just a little from the Metal image he seems to over portray

I agree Frank, I love Chris and vote for him every week, however I would love to see a softer side.

i used to really like chris but after that "what if" performance, i've changed my mind. i think if he chose songs that werent rock/metal he might be a little bit better.

Chris is already a star and I would not be surprised to see his CD on the racks shortly after AI - even if he doesn't win.

In order for him to win this competition, however, he has to appeal to the masses. He can still rock but don't yell at us - us old people find that annoying. Haha!
