If I was a betting man, I'd bet the farm that Blake will sell the most albums of any of the remaining contestants.

I've watched all 6 seasons and the only CD I'd ever consider buying is Blake's.

He sold me with his performance of "Time of the Season"

He has the most star power of any remaining contestants. I'd argue he has the most star power of any contestant on American Idol to date.

I like Blake, and I think he'll probably sell alot of CD's, but I don't see him having more star power than Jordin does. Her popularity is growing, while his seems to be fading. I was surprised to see him in the bottom 3 the other night.

Melinda does not need you to praise her with one voice, then in another insult her. How can you call her performance on Tuesday boring when even Simon saw a little bit of Tina Turner in her? She just doesn't just stand there, she works the stage. What show were you watching? As for star quality all Blake and Jordin have over her is age. Therefore probably a younger crowd may buy their cds. I am sure millions of Americans recognize the star quality that Melinda portrays each week. If she doesn't win, she isn't going to be a sore loser, but she will go back to singing. However, I am sure that the record industry has recognized her talents and would be willing to sign a contract today if she gets kicked off AI. Before the cds hit the stores I would have already ordered 50 for gifts to my friends and family. I would also donate cds to local libraries. For your information, I've talked to many young people and she is their favorite.

I think right now the judges are trying to elevate him by nitpicking every little so called off pitch that Lakisha makes. They need a guy in the final three so that's their little trick. In all fairness, I think she was talking more from a fan's perspective, as opposed to comparing herself to Melinda. But, knowing that BC is a singer herself, who's been in the studio, I'm sure she's pretty good.

Melinda does have an old style about her. Maybe not doo wop, but more like Memphis in the late '60's/70's. I could see her being one of "The Sweet Inspirations", Elvis's backup singers.

Skylarke knows absolutely nothing about me to be one to judge me. However, I am recording my first album currently and am as successful as a full time mother can be. Motherhood is my fulltime job and performing in my partime hobbie. I love doing it and I have many fans that support me. I am not on here promoting myself to be critisized...I have plenty of critisism in the competitions I do. Melinda should take the critisism and use it. Become more confident...if she would do that she would be way more successful. How many compliments does it take? Thats all I am saying. I am not a fan of hers. Thats it....I am not arguing anymore on this matter...you like her and I don't. Plain and simple.

I agree with THR, she may be the best vocalist that AI has produced. We have already discussed ad nauseum about the performance aspects of the Idol, but I feel MeeDoo will have a career out of this. Jordin is going to give her a run for her money and may win it all.

Well she's got amazing control. There was a bit of range on that, 2.5 octaves anyway, there was a modulation into the bridge, her runs were outstanding. What part of that performance wasn't fantastic?

Plus, you can't judge a person's range by a single song. So Jazz isn't your thing, country is, you can't deny MeeDoo is an awesome vocalist. At the end of that vid, when the judges were commenting, she didn't look surprised, it was more of an "awwww thank you!" kind of thing.

I'm glad you used the word "probably" because you aren't sure. I do not see her having any trouble doing that. She has proven that she can sing country. Her voice does not have to sound exactly like Underwood's, she can sound like Melinda.

Well, thank you...I know you do like her and its just that I don't like her "kind" of music. You know that I don't like watching her perform... and I am not getting into that again. What I consider "Western", is probably more like "Classic Country" from the '40's, 50's, and 60's. Stuff like Bob Wills, Hank Williams, Lefty Frizzell, Hank Thompson, Ernest Tubb, Patsy Cline, and others.
