yes... I didn't care for the first season but the show has really grown on me. My wife and I watch it now everyweek... well almost everyweek.
I like Apolo and Heather.... I would like to see the both of them in the op two.

Heather is still in. Actually I like her more now that I have learned something about her other than shafting Paul McCartney for which made her famous.
I like Apolo and my husband likes watching Cheryl Burke lolol. Fine with me cuz I had to hog tie him when the season started lolol. I like the three judges and Bruno is my favorite judge. I don't really care that much for the two hosts....the guys seems too much like a used car salesman in how he talks. He's OK. Get rid of Okie from Maskogie Billy Ray Cyrus. Joey and his partner will give Apolo and Ian a run for their money because he can dance.
With all the profits this show produces they really do need a class A band like American Idol has. AI has a fantastic band and backup singers...Dancing needs that!

I thought there was only one host and it was the guy from America's Funniest Videos? He's too sucky for my liking. The guy who was on season 1and he also starred in Seinfeld a few times, Elaine's boss. He would make a good host.

Yes! J. Peterman on Seinfeld would be great as the Host. Some chick named Samantha helps co-anchor but they are both too hokey. In fact Peterman danced on the show last year he was superb!!!!!!!

I saw him on the 1st season, he won in the end, but had to come back for a dance off, or something, to prove that he was the real winner?? He'd make a great host. He loved being on that show so I'm sure he'd love being the host.
I heard he was being considered for The Price Is Right though.

I think it will be between Apollo and Laila Ali. Apollo's partner is really good, and Laila Ali is a good dancer so far. Who knows maybe Heather will win, wouldn't that be a surprise?

There's no host..IMO..that could be better than Tom Bergeron..Samantha is also excellent and a natural..as for the contestants, I go for Apolo to win it, with Joey 2nd, AND Billy Ray Cyrus as the dancer who knows only the Achey Breaky,as the contestant who tries the very hardest to give it his all..and is succeding!!:heartpump

J. Peterman guy was considered but the one will replace Bob Barker was decided on.....drum roll please...........It's George Hamilton!! that's right.
Actually Geo probably will be good at smoozing the crowd. He looks good too. Still believe the Peterman guy should host Dancing w/Stars.

I heard they considered George but they past on him?? But now he's got the job hey?? I can't imagine them going with "ol Leather" but I guess he's got the right personality for the show? I think perhaps that show may be too confining for Peterman anyway. He needs something that can show off his sense of humor??
I used to watch the Apprentice all the time until this season. I keep forgetting to watch it! I caught the episode where that gay fellow designed some skimpy swim trunks and he got the boot, and I saw the mouth wash one which I really enjoyed. I don't like the losing team sleeping in a tent though. I like the luxury of the show. Was this a good season?

Hi, Eileen..I posted a reply for you, but for some reason it didn't take..so I will try again..everybody else, if there turns out to be 2 replies, you know the reason why! Nope, I am not his wife (I could only wish!:) )John O'Hurley was on Y&R back in the 90's..Chris (Cricket as she was known then)was looking for her father, and when she found him, he also had a son Scott who later married Lauren which brought into play the villianous(is that spelled right??looks strange! )character of Sheila...now do you remember?:talker:

I was hooked on the show late 80's early 90's. I remember Paul was married to Lauren but I don't recall Scott? I think I know who Sheila was?? From that show alone I ran into the man who played Paul's father, and Philip (Tom Beardsley) who was the son of the old gal, also the woman who played John's secretary, who has Polio, and the the detective who was illiterate, all in different locations. I met the illiterate detective, his name escapes me now, at a Beverly Hills art Gallery and he hung out with me and my ex husband that night. He phoned me the next day and invited us to his gallery party. I was totally star struck, I'm bad that way. The girl, I think her name was Carol in the show, John's secretary, was there too. I wish I could remember the other guy's name....Since you are a big fan you probably would remember him, as he's gone now. He was a bad actor but a fabulous artist. It will come to me.... P.S. my ex hubby lives in San Diego. I love San Diego!

The detective I think you are referring to was Nathan..who was married to Drucilla's sister, Olivia..they had a son Nate...the young Phillip, son of Jill and Katherine's husband Phillip, was Thom Bierdz..Yes, I dearly love San Diego also..I moved her from the DC suburbs of Va. in 2003..it is truly just Paradise...but sooooooooo expensive!!:(

I looked him up on the internet just now, after you gave me the first name and it say's he's still on One Life To Live! He's pretty handsome still if the picture is somewhat recent. You have an incredible memory for the show. Tom Bierdz I saw in a restaurant in Vancouver and he is sooooo cute! He was very nice to me as I almost drooled on the spot, see i'm star struck. Do you remember Carol? She used a cane and or wheel chair on the show.
Do they still have that old ship out in the harbor in San Diego? I had dinner on that boat. I used to live in Pine Mountain, close to Fraser Park and Palm Springs. I loved it! I am now in Vancouver. I have heard people compare San Diego to Vancouver. Similar in some ways, except you have constant great weather.

...she hasn't been on for about 5 years..neither has Paul's secretary, Lynn(which is my name by the way...and my middle name is same as yours except it is Aileen, but pronounced the same as yours)I really liked Thom Bierdz, did you know he quit the show because of personal issues..his brother killed their mom...so sad..he has been back on the show a few times as a "ghost" this year..still handsome as ever..Yes we still have the ship "The Star of India" anchored on San Diego Bay, right beside Anthony's Fish Grotto..MY fav place for dinner..the weather here is still wonderful...I like Canada too, although I have never been to Western Canada, only Eastern, since I lived on the East Coast..Nova Scotia is gorgeous, and I really like Montreal also..Oh, about meeting the stars, I did meet John O'Hurley on the streets of New York..I was in one of those tour buses, on the 2nd level and saw him, jumped out (you can get off where ever you like) and said "You!!...I Love YOU!"... and he said "thanks..I love you too"--Probably thought I was an idiot, but like you, I was star struck too..he was playing on Y&R at the time...

Eileen: This Apprentice I actually wrote to the Producer on. I told him I loved the show but there are some changes needed: 1. No more tents! This is a class show that is totally ridiculous get rid of them. 2. Find a time slot earlier like 7 or 8 pm. 3. Give better prizes for the winning team. One show they made a song with Snopp Dogg for god sake...please! The show can afford better prizes. 4. I don't really like the winning Project Mgr. being exempt. See how Holly, well maybe you didn't, but Holly kept staying in there as Proj. Mgr. and she was kept afloat by the others. It isn't fair.
I heard yesterday The Donald will be a grandfather this June. His son Don and new wife will have his first grandbaby. This year's show got better once they got rid of afew undesirables. My husband and I always watch it.
Hey do you like All My Children Eileen? LOL

Good for you that you wrote to the show! They will probably listen about the tent idea. I also miss Carolyn and the ol guy George! I know Carolyn was fired but what about George? I used to watch All My Children years ago. I heard the old gal died hey? I can't remember her name? Susan Lucci finally got her award!! I used to be addicted to that show. I used to watch the General Hospital and All My Children back in the day when Luke and Laura ran off and later I was addicted to The Young and the Restless.

Yes, I heard about Tom's brother killing their mother, unbelievable!! Was his brother mentally ill? When I saw him in the restaurant my table was right beside his. He was sitting with some girl who was trying to keep him hidden from fans. I said are you are you Philip from the Young and the Restless and he said yes, my name is Tom Bierdz and he shook my hand!!! Then the girl didn't like him being noticed but he loved it. He started rockin to the music in his chair. Do you remember he was a good dancer? So I was in my glory!!! They should have brought him back from the dead and make him a permanent star on the show again. You say he's a ghost does he vist the ol gal, The Dutchess? Are Jill and the Dutchess friends now? I think the ol gal was called the Dutchess? I remember watching the Y&R with my mom when I was 10 years old and Jill stole the Dutchess's husband. That show has been on forever!
I have been to Nova Scotia and PEI and LOVED IT!! We want to go to New Foundland one day. It is soooo beautiful over there and the seafood is deadly delicious and cheap!!! I have also been to Montreal and that is beautiful too!
Have a great day Lynn!

When the stars aren't dancing and it's elimination night I find the show to be a real yawner zzzzzzzzzzzz. I watched it last night and man was it a bore. What did you think about Heather's good bye speach. I thought I saw the other dancer's looking annoyed about it? Did anyone else catch that?

Thank God Husbands are watching this year! If it's a 2 hour show my Hubby will not sit through it. He will watch 1 hr and he likes Cheryl Burke..I agree she is excellent but she won't win with Ian this year. He is not as stong as Apolo the skater. Apolo and his gal are EXCELLENT. Ali gal will be second I believe and third will be Joey. One thing this show shows you is how hard it is learning to dance > learning ONE or TWO routines in a weeks time. Not easy. I took dancing for 13 yrs and believe me the judges are good and they make you do it by the book. Who else loves this show...please give me some men in this > :luxhello:
