Ok America...you swiped our laugh factor from the show! There was at least a good 5 minutes of guaranted hilarity each week when Sanjaya sang, was reviewed by the judges and tried to come up with witty comments! No more HAIR, no more FUNKY clothes, no more BAD singing, no more ODD movements that purported to be dancing!

Yes indeed, he gave us something to talk about! Now what?

Maybe if they all sang "Twinkle, Twinkle, Little Star" or the "Sissy Girl Voice National Anthem". Unfortunately, all three of those girly men will be around after next week when demographics take over.

I think the guys will do fantastic!

I thought it was interesting that they ended Sanjaya's "Good-bye Film" not with Sanjaya waving but with Diana Ross proclaiming, "Sanjaya is love."

I think it's a pretty safe bet that no one is EVER going to say that about Simon Cowell, despite AI's major damage control over the nasty eye-roll (and yes, I listened to the "authentic audio"),

and despite the absurd footage of Cowell playing patty-cake with little African children and trying to look as if he's

1) happy to be there

2) concerned about them

3) deep down inside a nice person.

Sanjaya may not have had the most talent on the show but you'd have to audition from here to the former planet Pluto to find a Princess with an ego as big or a disposition as nasty as Simon Cowell's.

But bring on the Cowell African footage, and the laughs will just keep on comin'!!!!

They should have had Bon Jovi be the coach where Tony Bennett was..

At what point do they start singing two songs each?

To answer the question who will we laugh at. His memory will linger and that's enough.

yes, unfortunately, I am. My husband died four years ago on the 28th from end-stage kidney disease.

My little sister was also a young widow. She died at age 50 of multiple cancers. Don't invite hate into your life, it's bad for you.

It is the "big show" next week.

BonJovi himself will get me warm. Very very warm. The performances? they will suck.

His departure never should have happened. He shouldn't have been in the top 24 to begin with.

I wonder if they will not goof around by throwing in a few bad contestants next year because of this?

"now who will we laugh at" is very true, but all good things must come to an end. Sanjaya had more than his 15 minutes of fame and it's about time. The focus now should be on the legitimate winner, either Jordin or Melinda. Both are truly sensational.

I saw Dilana's CD for sale on Ebay last night!!!

John Bon Jovi is dead sexy but I never did like their music. I really got into the country theme to my surprise, this week. The country guest star Martina was that her name? She has a beautiful, gorgeous voice but those slow country songs put me to sleep. I am refering to her song last night. Nice but too long. I liked it when the song picked up near the end.

I somehow don't see Him as enjoying the humor you've posted on here.

Better check in with Him and see if he meant what He said in Matthew 5:22.

Stick to the Kool-Aide and skip the Holy Cup!

Think Jesus had no sense of humor? I disagree and I wouldn't want to be part of that church anyway. The Bible is full of humor and satire (Elijah was pretty good with sarcasm).

This looks like a card from Wacky Packages. They would have advertizements on bubble gum cards and make fun of the ad. This is pretty funny. Sanjaya looks cute as a button on it. I hope he'd see the humor if he saw this. He should. Too cute!

Let's see: Jesus and humor/satire at the expense of others with a racial component . . . ya know X1TX, I just have a hard time picturing that.

And Elijah slit the throats of all the prophets of Baal, which is probably why there is NOT an Elijahn Church as part of the local interfaith council, though I can see that THAT might be a church you'd enjoy being part of.

You said it, Austin. Some humor just isn't humor at all. Aunt Jemimah comparisons just don't fly, even in jest. Come on, it's not 1965 anymore!

Actually, judging by the picture, it has more to do with Lakisha than Sanjaya. I could do without it.

Eileen, I'm just so offended, I don't know what I'm going to do. I'm gonna go cry. :pi_cry: Not really.:p

(Singing) "Come on Eileen, oh, I swear (well he means) At this moment you mean everything..."

I have to say Rimjia was NOT the reason I tune in each week. KIKI, Melinda and Jordan.
It was plane that non of the male contestans had the talent of ladies this time 'round.
There were some good ones but not good enough.
