The bald headed dude...and the Justin Timberlake wanna be.
Everytime the Justin Timberlake wanna be sings...I cringe.

I can only assume you remained anonymous because you were to embarassed to let anyone know that you like that little retard Sanjaya.
This is my first blog ever...it took something amazing for me to feel that it was time to take this step, and Sanjaya's departure was that amazing thing. Phil Stacey has 10 times the talent than that freak Sanjaya, and it was about time that the viewing public realized that. So in this glorious moment of my life I can happily say, that I will never have to listen to that piece of crap open his mouth and TRY to sing again. American Idol will be a much more enjoyable experience now for me and millions of other people who had lost faith in the show. I don't know how that talentless kid stayed so long, I can only figure that too many teen age girls with over active hormones ran up thier parents phone bill in hopes that Sanjaya would find out they voted for them and ask them to prom or something...which reminds me of another issue...PARENTS...PLEASE KEEP YOUR CHILDREN AWAY FROM THE PHONES DURING AI!!!!! So in closing.....it is a beautiful day and justice was served. No more Sanjaya....HALLELUJAH!!!! One more thing....who the hell put Blake in the bottom 3???? He is almost the only thing refreshing left about that show. I would like to thank God for making my dreams and prayers come true.....Goodbye Sanjaya....you will not be missed...well except by the little girls with braces and pimples who will be crying into thier pink pillowcases tonight!!!!

I've surfed the boards and read alot online how people think Sanjaya sucks. The kid, who is 17 by the way, admitted in his audition that he didn't think he was as good as his sister. So from day one he didn't think he was that good. To go on stage for the first time and do what he has done, in my opinion is awesome. Granted he wasn't the best, but he is NOT retarded, cocky, or horrible like everyone is claiming him to be. He should not have been there past top 10, but neither should Haily or Phil in my opinion. Chris Sly should be there and be leaving this week. Still my point stands that the kid is better than any of us will do. It really pisses me off that people make it personal with the kid. He dosen't suck either.
I feel bad from all the criticism he has taken. He needs work, but he is WAY better than a lot of people i have seen sing at bars. If he came back in 2 years, i think he would blow everyone away. However all this negative feedback would make him not want to do it. He didn't make himself stay around, people that liked seeing him made him stay. So why does everyone have to make it personal??!??!?!
P.S. No. Sanjaya was the worst of the bunch. Phil has a good voice but isn't the greatest performer. Chris makes the music his own, but imo, he does look like Justin too much, however he does have a good voice.

I agree with the above comments. I think people were voicing their frustrations that Sanjaya was still in the competiton, rather than a personal attack against him.
Yes, he couldn't sing well but he made things entertaining and did bring attention to the show. Remember, he didn't force his way onto the stage every week. America kept voting him on.
Reality finally set in, world order is back in place, and Sanjaya was finally sent packing.
All in all, a good night. :D

I completely agree that Chris is awful. What a copycat, untalented, wannebe.
Saying Sanjaya is better than Chris is a bit of a stretch, but not by much. I have sat by week after week wondering how the heck Chris gets by.
Listening to him sing is almost painful. At least Sanjaya was half way entertaining. Chris is simply a bore that has almost NO talent at all.

I think this is more Simon protecting his investment/cash cow. He wants to keep the AI buzz going. If people think it's a 'done deal' (as some are saying that MeDoo already has the title locked up) then folks will figure 'what's the point' and quit watching.
Personally, I don't like Blake's vocal style at all and would never vote for him. But to each their own.

Chris Sligh while being a pretty good singer had a lisp and was quite full of himself. Thats why he is gone. Sanjaya remained because he was a ratings gold mine. The show is definitely rigged. How could sanjaya never be in the bottom three then all the sudden be at the very bottom in votes? Only one answer. The public votes dont win out over the shows execs and what they feel is best for the show. They knew that keeping Sanjaya another week would ruin the credibilty of the show. Why dont they tell you the vote tallies?
And I think Sligh basically lost interest in trying to win. He even alluded to that in his exit interview.

Chris Sligh was smart enough to know that this years winner would be a black female. If you watch Idol over the years its clear that there is a politically correct agenda and its pretty easy to guess early on who will win. He did however succeed in getting exposure for his band which is basically what he wanted.
