1st one up is Phil he is singing Black Top I think this is one of his best performances!!! WOW!!!!

3rd one is Sanjaya is singing Let's Give Em' Something To Talk About....it doesn't impress me at all......Perhaps his worst performance!

This is it for Sanjaya I think. I think people are getting tired of the whole schtick! ............OUCH... just listening to Lekisha!!! She was AWFUL too!!!!

5th is Chris singing Mayberry......I really didn't like it...I like Chris I wish he had picked something better for his voice.....

"Nasally is a form of singing????????" what the heck was that? It was nice of him to send his condolences to VT victims/families, but that would have been fine to just say that and not try to justify his nasally-ness.

6th is Melinda Trouble Is A Woman Wow another Strong and Powerful vocal! I am not surprised this is the Melinda we have all come to love!

I thought Jordin had the best vocal of the night. Melinda was fun. Phil really impressed me tonight. It was a step up from his bad performance last week. I felt Lakisha did good tonight as well. Sanjaya, Chris and Blake were all boring and have earned a spot in the bottom three.

Never - there is nothing Phil can sing that will make me admit that he did a good job. I can't stand him. Unfortunately, I think LaKesha was pretty bad, but I'm afraid it might be Chris that goes. However, I won't abandon hope that it will still be Phil.

I've liked some of Sanjaya's performances. I still believe he's earned a ticket home tomorrow night. Phil did the best out of all the guys tonight IMO.

I have to agree that these three were the best. Phil did great and I liked that he took Martina's advice. I was hoping that Lakesha would use her voice to the fullest, but she fell short. I think Chris could have done a better job, and I agree with Simon that Blake was okay, I wasn't ready to jump out of my chair with that performance.

Melinda did a fun song. Jordin and Lakisha were the ones that took the risk. I thought Lakisha did well tonight. It wasn't a top performance but wasn't bad either.

I thought Jordin really shined. I knew she would. She looked beautiful as well.
Blake did a great job as well. Great sweater, too.
Lakesha was a little rough tonight. I didn't care for her performance.
Melinda was okay. I did like her hair.
Sanjaya was his usual horrible self. Chris wasn't any better.
Phil was better than usual.

There's a thread about this already. He wasn't rolling his eyes because of that. Even the biggest idiot in the world wouldn't be dumb enough to do that on national TV.

I still like Sanjaya but i'm not a fan of anyone on American Idol this year. Blues just isn't Sanjaya's thing IMO. He was awful tonight and deserves a ticket home. Blake and Chris should also be in the bottom 3. Lakisha did better than both of them.

Nasally may not be a 'form' of singing, but GOODNESS GRACIOUS - Some people have that nasal sound when they TALK - how are you gonna not sound nasal when you sing? There are a lot of singers who sound nasal - Rascal Flatts is one of 'em. There's nothing wrong with that. WHATEVER!

I did see that! I agree - that was horrible. Do you think that's why he figured (although Ryan had already done it at the beginning of the show) he'd speak on behalf of all and gave his condolences after Blake's performance? To try to cover up his reaction to Chris?

Melinda was WOW!! Phil - best I've ever heard him.
I thought Lakisha was okay. Jordin was really good!
The other boys, well... Sanjaya was not as bad as I expected after reading everyone's comments, but it wasn't good. Blake?? I just don't get it. He was really off pitch a lot, it was so boring, and what is his obsession with plaid??? (Lol!) Chris was not good at all, IMO.
I enjoyed Blake the least, but expect bottom 2 to be Chris and Sanjaya. (I'm hoping Chris goes, but of course, I like Sanji...)

That is what I expect for the bottom 2 as well Sanjaya and Chris....I am happy you got to see them! Phil really blew me away!
