Gina was robbed! Haley is just like Sanjaya, she doesn't deserve to be there. She keeps wearing the short skirts to guarantee her the votes. I don't mean to sound like a cow here, but Gina didn't deserve to go, not tonight. I felt raally bad for her. This voting system sucks. They should do it like Rock Star. The bottom 3 has to sing for the judges and the judges pick who leaves out of the 3. America votes for the favorite but with every bottom 3 the judges should decide on who leaves. This current way of voting clearly isn't working. It will be interesting to see how far Sanjaya will go.

I agree, Haley and Sanjaya need to go home soon. I am shocked, and Gina was too! It makes me mad that the voting is not placed on the vocals and more on hair and legs. Sure it helps to look attractive, but how far is too far for people placing physical appearance before their vocals. And Gina was a great vocalist and adorable! What is up with America? :(

I totally agree on the voting system - what are the judges for if they didn't have the final say? There's a great danger of AI turning into a commedy if people kept voting for whoever the ones that give them more jokes/laughs or sexual appeals. At least William Hong (not sure if this was his correct name - the one that sung the Ricky Martin song and even released a CD) didn't get in the way of other good singers...

I feel this is the weakest idol show yet. The talent isn't there as it has been in past shows. So far, this particular series has been just mundane for me dawgpound.

Gina wasn't the worst this week, and didn't deserve to be voted off. But, I don't feel bad because there were some weeks where she was really bad, and deserved to be booted off. Especially the weeks Sabrina and Stephanie were voted off instead of her. I look at it as poetic justice in a way.

it wassnt a suprise that ginas gone cause when she and haley were standing sideby side haley is such a babe shes so hot sooo so hot n gina aint badlookin especialy cause her chestt looked real heavy last nite and thats cool but it was kinda late haley is just too hot to kick off

Look at Haley wearing those short, short skirts, as if to be pulling the leg card to keep her there for as long as possible. She should have been gone a long time ago. She has been consistently bad. Out of desperation, her skirt will be even shorter next week. And when Simon comments on it she'll look to the audience like Whaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa?

At least Sanjaya is an entertainer. Gina was completly dull and mundane, she should have not even made it to the top 12. She deserved to be eliminated.

I'm sorry, but the only entertainment Sanjaya does is a different hairdo each week. I thought he was cute and wholesome at first and now it's a joke that he's on. And if he's in the finals I will not watch American Idol and will be furious if he makes it to the finals! :mad:

Gina should have been gone weeks ago - yeah!!! Haley can sing, she's just weak, but unlike Sanjaya, I think she really is trying to dig down and emote (nice word, eh?). Unfortunately, she'll never be a Melinda or Lakisha, so she has not choice but to pull out the sex appeal. You have to play the cards you're dealt, and that's her only differentiating point - so, go for it as long as you can!!!;)

two weeks ago when steph was sent home i was crushed and stunned. maybe because of that i was a little more prepared for tonight... maybe.... but tonight was tougher because in the last few weeks gina went from being one of the boring white girls to being an exciting vibrant soul! nobody in the last few weeks stepped out and became THEMSELVES more than gina. everybody seemed content to play it safe and blend in... now gina is gone and we can only look forward to the finale and the tour.... BUT... after watching chris daughtry outdistance last years idols that outlasted him, maybe we can see where gina will be in another year. i noticed among the final eight, a sense of loss when gina's name was announced. even haley seemed more sad then if her name had been announced.... i really believe that two or three years from now when we remember ai2007 gina's name will be coming up again and again. GINA thanks for making ai 2007 something worth remembering. god bless and god speed!
