Just started watching Idol last season -- became a big fan after it got down to about 12. Only heard what everyone else said about it up until then. Thought for the most part that was a great group of contestants as far as talent and personality too. I was anxiously awaiting the top 12 this year but have been very disappointed. A lot of the talent voted off last year is much better than any I've seen this year. Though I must admit boredom keeps me from watching it as much and I may have very well missed the "better" performances. :mecry:
