I too can't believe that Sanjaya is still there---if it continues to go this way, we too will not watch. Something is terribly wrong -- won't we look great if this is the height of American Performance -- I guess we're going down the tubes!!!

Guys, you've got this wrong. Stop listening now and you hand this program over to Stern and VFTW. Hang in there and out-vote them. They're not that strong. Positives will outweigh negatives. Let's just vote, vote, vote til we send the message we want them to hear.

If you want to really get the attention of the Fox executives, stop watching the show for a few episodes. A drop in ratings will get their attention.

I'm all for it - take a look at all Mr. J's previous posts - they are filled with personal attacks to posters who comment negatively on Sanjy's singing - even the most innocuous or fair of comments. I suspect he's a troll. But a weird thing to be a troll for!

i agree, i cant watch the show or dont want to so i tape it now and just fast forward when he sings cuz hes aweful. the lil girl was a fluke to keep him in this , i cant call it a competion cuz he has no chance in a "singing comp." the judges set up alot i think.

But all these Shamalamadingdong threads are only proving the producers of AI made the right call in keeping him on the show. There's more buzz about Shlamuzi on all the boards than the rest of the contestants combined.

This is even worse than all the "get rid of David Carr" Houston Texans threads.

Give the lad a break. He can sing. The judges put him through because he could. The other contestants are a lot older and more confident in their style at this stage of the competition. With the right guidance he could surprise you all. I for one was glad that he was not in the bottom 3 this week.

Hang on, Jordin is exactly the same age..... look at the difference in both vocal ability, confidence and stage prescence.

I have no idea why the judges put Sanjaya through to the final 24, probably pretty much the same reason they put Kevin Covais through last year....

Can anyone beat all of the population in India voting for Sanjaya. It all started with teh Indians voting for him and then people like Howard Stern and the others decided to cash in on that stupidity. He is goign to make it all teh way and the producers will nto be able to do a thing and then we will get to see his CD's all over the market.

AWFUL... He can't sing, he can't dance, and he looks like a 13 year old girl. because of him, I can no longer watch the show. For him to be able to get this far shows that no one voting has any integrity.

There are alot of other TV shows on to watch at that time. Maybe if AI doesn't get the ratings...they might get the "idea"!

Your right! All of this is not Sanjaya's fault! He just applied for American Idot, the judges chose him, and the "bubble gum crowd" and "Stern Idiots" are voting for him. Sanjaya is just caught in the middle...and knows it!
My guess is the other contestants also know what crazyness is going on with idiot voters!

Ok, most of us know that Sanjaya should not be in this competition. I realized when Sundance left over him that this was not going to be a good year. Anyway, my idea is that if everyone could pick just one person to vote for and post who that will be on here, so that we can spread it out among the contestants, maybe we can do some good. What do u think???
