Democrats give us another lesson in how to support the troops:

http://littlegreenfootballs.com/weblog/?entry=24853_Leftists_Supporting_the_Troops&only

I have to laugh at how the cowards all have their faces covered. Ashamed of their behavior?
I think they should add to that banner that says “No gods, No countries, No masters": "No jobs, no class, no bathing, no lives, no clue." :D

How proud democrats must be of all their anti-troops behavior. I know satan and alQaeda are.

How proud democrats must be of all their anti-troops behavior. I know satan and alQaeda are. It's interesting how you use a blog with the word Confederate in it's title to make your point. Again, the anti war protesters have the constitutional right to do those things that you attribute to "The Devil" and "Evil Muslims." What would you have done with these Damn Dirty Hippies? Should protesters be jailed? Should they be flown to other Evil countries? What would You do?

You know at times it's useless to say anything against certain people's opinions....They just don't get it....we all have a mind of our own and think differently....

(this in no way is a personal attack)

It's one thing to have free speech. It's another to use it against our troops during a war.

How can anyone even begin to fathom to support these anti-war morons?

Our brave troops fight for our freedom and rights. There would be no free speech/1st amendment if not for our brave troops. Don't ever forget it.

Oh, and I would send the protestors to hmmm...:Canada, France, Iran, Syria, or London? I think London. They're having a hell of a time with all their evil muslims now. Let the anti-America traitor protestors get a taste of life with evil muslims in control. I give them an hour before they're whining to come home to "evil" America.

And wheter or not you agree, protesting war, and even the troops is allowed. I don't agree with it, but it's A RIGHT.

Of course it's a right, but burning a soldier in effigy? Burning OUR flag while we're at war? Saying F*CK the troops?

The liberals just want to surrender. Proud Americans will NEVER surrender.

I am beyond stunned at the anti-America, anti-troops, anti-patriotism of some of the people around here.

I myself support our troops with my tax dollars!!! That being said I also support them in my heart after all it's not their fault they are fighting a losing battle....You know my son said it best yesterday we were talking about the war after the news and he said "no one wins" I asked him what he meant and he said "no one wins in a war..everybody loses because of all the death".......wow out of the mouths of babes....

Liberal anti-America, anti-war vandals damaged a 'support the troops' sign and a Congressman's office. It looks like blood.

The people who do this are the scum of America and should go home (to hell?) or wherever they came from. If I ever caught one of them doing that I would make sure they never vandalized anything again.

Not surprising it was in Michigan--the muslim capitol/@ss**** of America. Ugh...

It disgusts me how people are during this war. They act as if they want the enemy to win. How can people actually feel it is right to protest at a dead solders funeral is beyond me. If it was my family that was being protested I would feel it would be right and obligation to go kick the living **** out of anyone protesting a member of my family at their funeral. I can not imagine a jury in this country that would punish me for doing so either.

If you feel you must protest please feel free to do so but in a way that will not offend people that have sacrificed to give you the right to do so. I don’t agree with it during time of war but it is a right… let’s just do it with a little class that’s all I am asking.

Anti-war/anti-America nutroots in WI are at it again. Just one day after 21 people were arrested during a demonstration that vandalized a U.S. Army recruiting office on Milwaukee's east side, Wisconsin peace activist groups said protesters might increasingly turn to destruction as their frustrations mount. UGH...:(

Anti-war protesters arrested at Pelosi’s office
By Chris Good March 22, 2007

Four members of the anti-war group CODEPINK were arrested outside the office of House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) Thursday afternoon, following an announcement that they would seek to take over the office.

The group’s members had planned to hold a symbolic “Pin the war on the Donkey” demonstration at Pelosi’s office to show their frustration with the Democratic leadership’s inaction on ending the war in Iraq.

However, Capitol Police prevented the taping of a drawn donkey to the wall.

It's easy to cherry pick the Dem's policy by Google results and linking to these stories. Code pink currently has 200 chapters worldwide. With a total membership of less than 30,000 worldwide this is hardly an influential anti war group. It's actually a social club for women who want to pretend that they are socially relevant.

About CODEPINK

http://www.codepink4peace.org/img/pic/pink_umbrella.jpg (http://www.codepink4peace.org/img/original/pink_umbrella.jpg)
CODEPINK is a women-initiated grassroots peace and social justice movement working to end the war in Iraq, stop new wars, and redirect our resources into healthcare, education and other life-affirming activities. CODEPINK rejects the Bush administration's fear-based politics that justify violence, and instead calls for policies based on compassion, kindness and a commitment to international law. With an emphasis on joy and humor, CODEPINK women and men seek to activate, amplify and inspire a community of peacemakers through creative campaigns and a commitment to non-violence.

Answer this honestly,
what exactly did you think was going to happen concerning the war from last November until now? The mess that took Jorge four years to create was going to be solved in 5 months by the Dem's? PLEASE.

These postings of anti Democratic policy not ending the war, by linking to insignificant fringe protest groups are laughable at best.

The facts still remain that this country overwhelmingly wants us out of Iraq, and the presidency will be back in the Democrats hands in 2008. Last November's elections weren't a fluke.

So keep posting your hate filled overeactionary links to Isolationist, milita-like, bunker living websites trying to "Shame" the democrats here.
You have a little over 20 months before the Democrats get the Presidency back. Enjoy

MANALAPAN, Fla. — Vice President **** Cheney accused the Democrat-led House of Representatives of not supporting troops in Iraq and of sending a message to terrorists that America will retreat in the face danger.:(

"They're not supporting the troops. They're undermining them," Cheney told a gathering of the Republican Jewish Coalition at the oceanside Ritz-Carlton hotel in Manalapan, Florida, about 60 miles north of Miami.:(

I think you have it backwards THR. The democrats have the stupidity to not do the courageous thing regarding this war. That would be to continue and finish what has been started now. Win this war and then bring our troops home for good. Otherwise we will be fighting this battle again some day but by then the enemy will be much stronger and more powerful.

It would be better to stand and fight now in land that is not our own then to wait and fight another day on our own land.

TaylorHicksRocks

I don't have it backward the problem is we should never have invaded we are not the police for the entire world and we got ourselves into a huge mess...This war is fought without even knowing who is the bad guy and who to attack unless they are shooting...

So I guess you would have let the likes of Hitler go on and dominate the world right? Sometime, people need to have the balls and stand up. If this is not handled now it could be too late to handle it later. Is this country so blind that they can not see what the big picture really is?

I agree we should not be the police of this world but if we do not take this challenge on now head to head our kids will truly feel the pain in the years to come. You think gas prices are bad now? You think our economy is bad now? Try in 5 years from now if Iran and the radicals take over OPEC. Do you have any concept what our economy will be like if Iran makes gas go up to $10 a gallon? And don't be thinking this could not happen, if OPEC gets pushed out it will happen very quickly. Yea, our economy will be in great shape. You think this is unemployment now? You haven't seen anything yet.

I say finish our fight now while the odds are in our favor and do it in our terms, not stop now and continue in a few years when the radicals are totally prepared to fight us and do it in their time.

We had support when we fought Hitler from most of the world those who were not with us were opposed and then there were the few that chose to stay neutral...Hitler is dead same as Saddam....we should leave and let the Iraqi's have there country back....this is just making the radicals even more determined to attack us and see red..

The West’s dealings with Iraq and Saddam Hussein are very similar to Germany and Hitler. No one at the time took him seriously. Even after Hitler’s Nazis weaseled their way into power in the 1932 elections, the West kept looking the other way. They looked the other way when he violated the terms of the 1918 Armistice that ended WWI and began re-arming the military. They looked the other way when the Nazi-dominated Bundestag passed one law after another targeting Jews, gypsies, the mentally retarded, homosexuals and other “undesirables” who simply didn’t deserve to live.
They looked the other way when the regime began its reign of terror on its own citizens.

And to top it off, Neville Chamberlain, Britain’s prime minister, signed the Munich Accord, allowing Hitler to “annex” the Sudetenland of the sovereign nation of Czechoslovakia in 1938, followed quickly by the conquest of the entire country and the 1939 invasion of Poland that brought on the horrors of World War II. All in the name of “peace with honor.”

What if the West had stood up to Hitler at the very beginning, holding him to the terms of the Versailles Treaty? What if the West’s leaders had taken seriously his visions of genocide and global war, all laid out in print in “Mein Kampf”? Would six million European Jews have lived if the West had cared?

Even after years of slaughtering his own citizens, violating treaties, and invading neighboring countries, the West did nothing to stop Hussein until George W. Bush took office. He was the only one who cared enough to do something about it.
