Sorry to sound silly..:o
We all know that Paula is the ever famous singer but who the heck is Simon Cowell and Randy Jackson?
I don't think they are singers though...

I've always wondered this myself.
I know Randy is some sort of producer, but I don't know what label he works for, or who he has produced. I have no idea what the deal is with Simon.
Simon has produced many artists over in the UK. The list is endless, but it's usually teeny pop music which he's interested in. Since these are the primary money spinners.

First of all Randy is great. He makes the show funny. His job requires a lot of thought. Randy has to ponder what if the person has or doesn't have star quality. As a judge he must have regard for their feelings while heeding the fact they may not have what it takes.I really like Randy because he is honest about his convictions.

Simon is the judge that likes to insult everyone. But if you listen to the singer he is usually right. They have picked a song that does not fit their range.Vocally it does not always work.Just because they like the song.Every one must choose carefully the song. They are told by all the judges song choice is so important.

Yeah SImon and Randy are big music producers. Simon was one of the original judges when it aired in the UK before it was American Idol

I thought Randy played drums. Where did I get that idea?
Simon has produced many bands throughout the years. He created Pop Idol, which was the original British version of Idol. He has been a very influential producer for years now.
Paula was never a talented singer, and should never be refered to as one. She was a dancer. Originally she was a Laker Girl cheerleader, and quickly became their choreographer. She choreographed for Janet Jackson and many other performers. I believe she choreographed the entirety of Janet's "Rhythm Nation" Album/ video. She put out the album, Straight Up, but her vocals were sub par at best, and so covered with effects that it sounded like a computer sang her songs. I really do not like to refer to her as a singer, because she was terrible. She really should be judging, So You Think You Can Dance.

I wasn't actually doubting you, but trying to figure out why I thought he played drums. I knew he played for Journey. Did he ever play drums, or did I just make that up in my crazy head?

He sure did! He has done so much other stuff too, but he must take resposibility for those terrifying, androgynous bears (?).
