I can honestly say that I was never a fan even before their treasonist comments, and I'm still not. I never liked their music. I'm glad to see there are still alot of patriotic people in the Country Music industry, who aren't going to put up with that nonsense.

The Chicks, whose previous two CDs had hit No. 1 on both the pop and country charts, lost album sales and radio play. Some fans stomped their discs to bits. Their careers were over.

Apparently Maines didn't learn much after the September 11 attacks. The American people have become much more patriotic, and while there are many opinions about the war in Iraq, there are also many casualties for those that speak out on subjects that are considered by many as un-American.
