Well, there were some injustices, weren't there!
Sanjaya over AJ? No. no. no!
Antonella staying and Leslie going -- uh uh. Leslie sang such a great farewell song, too.

AI is being a big letdown this year, i mean really.. at least all the really awesome ones are still in.. but geez.. all the bad and horrible ones IN AS WELL, to be honest american idol is more a FREEEK show than a SINGING competition.
i mean, we should send to holywood those really geekie guys that just make fun off in auditions, maybe theyd win AI cus there REALL CUTe and ppl WILL LOVE them.

SANJAYA OVER all of the other guys voted off.. annoys me big time

I think both AJ and Leslie sounded great,,, this week and tonight... This is obviously a popularity contest NOT a singing competition. Antonella is still on because the world has seen her naked body on every internet site.

This whole matter sucks! Did anyone else notice that this week AJ and Leslie sang the same song? She was very mad you could tell! At the end of the song she said "why did I decide to scat" "America doesn't care about jazz" as part of the song! I am very mad that no singing Antonella and Sanjaya got to stay! Sanjaya himself was even shocked to see that he stayed???????? Hellooooooooooo...... That should tell you something! Going to bed soon! Can't stand to stay awake thinking about the disappointment. I'm sure Aj will be crying tomorrow after loosing to Sanjaya!

DEFINITELY Agree with the consensus here. I can see Antonella
hanging on by a thin thread over Leslie, but Sanjaya remaining ??????
And beating out AJ ?????? (ROFLMAO!!!!)
He is one of the worst singers I have seen in the 6 years of idol's existence.
He had back to back monstrous performances. PLUS his sister had a better audition than him and he made it in.!!! Sanjaya must have the largest amount of friends and relatives.
The voting system NEEDS to CHANGE!!!
Well if you believe in what dialidol really says then Antonella was in the top three......

I did really like Sanjaya and wanted him to do good. But I think he is too young for this competition and needs some guidance on making the right decisions. Unfortunately he will not make it much further doing things the way he has been...I just feel sorry for AJ.

I can't believe it! I am one who votes - ALOT. But, I wouldn't mind if they'd change the voting system if that would stop the better ones from getting voted off before they should -
like Antonella and Sanjaya for sure!

The reason Antonella and Sanjaya are still on is because of the website
vote for the worst .com They tell people to vote for the worst Idol to keep them on and prove the show a big farce. I hate it because it ruins it for people that should stay on.

We have storms here, and our power was out for over an hour! I missed the whole show! I've glanced at some of the threads... tell me it isn't so?? The playboy bunny and Sanjaya (sp) didn't get voted off??? HUH?? Did they only eliminate two tonight? I thought two girls and two guys got voted off each week until top 12? Can someone give me a quick recap please? Thanks so much!

AJ and Leslie were shockers. But seeing what's happened in past seasons I'm not surprised to see Antoiletta and Sanji still in it. Look how long Covais and Pickles were in it last season.
Yeah, I remember how many things I threw at my tv over chicken little last year........poor poor tv........

I think it's a matter of taste there are some excellent people this year too. Although I think Blake and Chris R. are very talented, I would not vote for them......just not my style. Seems there are always a few people that have a certain style that I would never go for. Although, I oddly liked Bucky even though I am NOT a country music fan.
I know what you're talking about. I never saw the attraction with Taylor at all last season, but enough people did that he won the contest. Good for him. I liked Elliotts vocal style a LOT better. And I always thought Chris was going to win it. But by not winning and being tied to the AI contract I'm sure he'll do better and I think in the long run may have better commercial success than the others. Kellie also has some contracts in place. My favorite from AI5, Mandisa, I heard signed a contract (but don't know any details).
I do think that AJ could get with a band somewhere. He really does have a good voice and is comfortable on stage in front of a big TV audience. I think win or lose there will be a few that get offered contracts out of this batch. Only time will tell who wins though.

i agree with you...why are sanjaya and antonella staying??? i was shocked when they were kept??? there was no justice last night...they should have both gone last week...instead we have to listen again to them next week...oh well maybe it can be righted next week...

watch American Idol again.....I have seen commercials that are worse than

America must have felt pretty stupid when Ryan read off how all of the judges thought AJ did good and Sanjaya got all the bad results. Than Antonella! This girl just has an ego, it shows and she can't sing. I couldn't even here her stand out during the "joy to the world" in that episode. I feel like she is being on because of her looks... shallow. Vote for voice not body.:mad:

I am glad the internet exists. I hope they save all this stuff cuz in about 50 years (maybe less) people are going to read the threads. They will see pictures, movies and other media showing how the world was in "2007" and then read people in the threads talk about "values" and "morals" and their general lack of tolerance and how offended they are by the littlest of things and....fall off their chairs laughing. Good stuff...keep it up!

All this angst over the votes is funny. At this stage in the competition, most of these people are not worthy of consideration. I would put the serious competitors at about five (3 girls, 2 guys). The rest can go anytime. I only get upset when one of my finalists goes early. Let's face it. Isn't it fun to say how much Antonella and Sanjaya screw up next week?
