A choice to kill her baby? A choice for partial birth abortion which is stabbing her baby in the base of its's skull with scissors as it's being born, suctioning the brains out, and then throwing its' still-screaming corpse into the garbage can? DISGUSTING!!!

Abortion is the most criminal thing a woman can do to herself. Killing innocent little babies is barbaric.

Back when I was a heathen I was "pro choice". Then I got saved and all that changed. I thank God I never had to make a choice, I always knew for me that I would never choose to kill my baby.
I wish we had better ways to get through to people about the other, better choice. Too bad the liberals have a lock on charity and helping the underprivileged. That would be the target audience.

WHAT????? Bush has thrown more millions at charity and the "under- priviledged" than any other president. Republicans donate more to charity. And take less from the system.

Do you have figures to back that up? I look around, I don't see the same world you do.
What W has done, is grant the largest tax relief in history to the top earning 1% in the US. I got a check back from him when he first got elected, I think it was 500 or so, his buddies got millions in relief. I won't even mention what he did to the poor folk in New Orleans.
sandy

"I don't see the same world you do." Of course you don't. I'm a Republican. Google it. Research it. Figures are out there somewhere. I know I heard/read them somewhere. I have no time for this.
That tax break creates the trickle down theory which helps the economy.
You got $500 from W? How much did you get from ANY other president? Nothing? I didn't think so...
Bush did nothing to the people in NO except try to get them evacuated. Their stupid Mayor and Governor were too panicked/moronic/prideful to help them. He did authorize giving them money and free housing afterwards. They used the money for hookers, drugs, alcohol, designer purses etc.. And trashed all the free housing.
I think we have a case of class envy here. How sad:

What could possibly be a good reason for killing a baby? Inconvenience? Stupidity? Evil? Hate?
Have you ever seen the chart of baby growth? It starts immediately.
Help me understand how any woman who loves/wants/has children could possibly support murdering an innocent baby? The thought of it makes me sick.
The moral choice would be that if you’re not prepared to raise a child, you should not engage in sex. Weighing the choices AFTER you’ve become pregnant is neither moral nor responsible, it’s selfish and immature.
Babies can survive at 21 weeks. Abortion is murder.

Sandy, the reality is, most pro-choice people (about 90%) of them are against partical birth abortion. Which means the chances of anyone on this board being pro partical birth abortion is so slim, but still you felt the need to give a discription.
Now, I read it, and have kept that image in my mind since then.

First of all, I never said I was pro-choice.
Second, pro-choice, means someone feels that each woman has the right to make her own decisions. It doesn't mean that they would ever have an abortion themself.
Third, you are the one who broght up partical birth abortion, and gave a detailed discription. I assure you the chances of anyone agreeing with part birth abortion is rare. And, practically impossible...based on statics...that anyone on this forum would agree.
Now, when I look at my daughter I see your partical birth abortion discription.
I don't want to read things like that, use a warning label.

I agree, abortion should be eliminated. Condoms, rubbers, adoption, birth control. If there are accidents, they should be adoptable.

Agree these are terrible situations. But first, the infant should not have to pay the price of an action on the part of an evil person. They're the innocent party in this.
Second, it is never wise to make law or policy based on the lowest common denominator.
Also, statistically the number of abortions for cases of rape/incest are extremely low (almost to the point of being insignificant).
we have to have an open mind and understand their is a reason for everything......We will all be judged by our maker when the time comes.......Unless you are saying that you are Christ in the 2nd coming I don't understand why you have to sit in judgment of others........if you did say that you were Christ I would not believe you because I know What Jesus Would Do.....
Agree. We will all need to stand before the creator of heaven and earth at some point and answer for our own actions. But that is why some folks are quite passionate about this. They don't want to stand there and have no answer if asked "What did you do to try to stop this?"

I know a young girl that was raped in junior high and she had an abortion.....just the thought of having to carry a child that was conceived in such a way is enough for me to think that the law is a good one....Also if she did have the baby and give the child up for adoption just imagine if the child were to search for his/her birth mother and find out why they did indeed exist in the 1st place....Now I have a sister that was given up for adoption by my mom before she was married so those records are no longer kept secret.....I live next door to my older sister and I am happy that she does exist.....I also used to babysit and one of the girls I watched was raped the Lord was with her when she choose adoption but she could not bear to even look at the baby and was depressed the entire time she was pregnant......I only know of 2......but isn't just one case enough.......

What changed my philosophy, and I am not radical or reactionary by any measure, is Matthew 25:31-46.
I kinda base my life on that principle.

There could be 99.99% opposed to it but to date that's been a moot point. The restrictions on abortions were lifted not by "We the People" but by the Supreme Court. And there was no clear language in the Constitution to support their decision. Instead they relied upon Stare Decisis (their own precedents) and "penumbras and emmanations" to create Roe v. Wade out of whole cloth. Abortion is not a 'law', it is a SCOTUS judicial edict. And even the plaintiff, Norma McCorvey, has tried to get the court to overturn Roe.

sadie

Pro-Choice is absolutely not Pro-Abortion. That is one of the stupidest things someone could say.
No one 'likes' abortion. But we need to respect the right to choose. It is a very difficult decision that some women have had to make. Fortunately, I have never been in the situation where I had to even consider it, but I am not as cold, calculating and narrow-minded as some on this site.
Actually, most Americans reject the absolutist position that it is always wrong to terminate a pregnancy and believe that abortion may be considered under certain circumstances. (ie. Rape and incest)
Most women seeking abortion have found themselves in a position where there is no 'way out' and abortion simply becomes a means to an end of an intolerable situation.
There will always be a question of exactly when life begins...even the Bible says life begins at 'breath'.
Other religions say at viability and some at birth.
Some religions are more extreme and don't even allow for birth control, that to interfere with the possibility of life is a sin. So to the guys out there, maybe you need to be more responsible in the shower and not waste so much 'possibility of human life'. And until you start being more responsible...we don't need your opinion on our bodies.
I realize not everyone is going to agree on this but again......this idea that some here think they have the only opinion that counts is SICKENING!!!!!!!
THR and Lizzyj.......I support you both 100%. Don't allow closed-minded individuals to ever hurt you with their sinful 'stone throwing'.

I don't believe in abortion in any circumstance.
My youngest daughter was supposed to have Downs Syndrome and Spina Bifida. The doctor actually told us that we should get an abortion. We refused. Instead, that Sunday when we went to church, we went to the alter, and all the women in the church laid their hands on my wife's womb, and prayed over her. A few months later, my wife gave birth to beautiful baby girl, who is now 10, and an honor roll student. When she was born, the doctors were totally dumbfounded because they thought they knew for sure she would be handicapped.
I'm glad we didn't listen to that doctor. My daughter might have very well been handicapped, but I believe that God healed her, and I'm glad that I had the faith to believe that he would. Even if she was born handicapped, I still would've been thankful for her, and loved her with all my heart. He gave me a beautiful daughter who has been such a blessing, not only in my life, but everybody else's she's known. She, along with my other daughter, is my best friend. If my wife would've got that abortion, I don't think we could've lived with ourselves.
That's my testimony.
I believe that God has a plan for everybody. Whether they were planned or unplanned by their parents. It's not up to us to decide whether they live or die.
Y'all can believe what you want to, and label however you want label things, whether it be pro-life, pro-choice, pro-abortion, pro-whatever. But as for me, I believe that abortion is wrong, and I always will. Plain and simple.

Well it's not for us to say how my friend in Jr. High felt after being raped and turned out to be pregnant.......I for one stood by her and understood how she felt we had been friends since ND grade.....When in this case the family decided that it would be best for Tracey due to the fact that she was 12 years old and became very withdrawn and depressed......talked to DR. and found that it was dangerous for her to give birth at such a young age.....her body was not prepared for such a thing.........I only hope you never have to see the frightened face of someone that has gone Thur such trauma......She did not want to have a child by this man she didn't even know and took her by force......I realize that this is a rare case but it happens and when it does It's a good idea for those who want options.......
First of all I believe no man has a right to even have an opinion about abortion..unless he has ever been pregnant, ever had to deal with it.....
Men can just walk away.......that is their solution.......women don't get that option...
No one has the right to tell someone else what they can do with their own body or tell them that they must have a child, plain and simple. You don't have any right to tell me that I have to give birth to a child if I don't want to.....
and no, I have never had an abortion......but that is just my feelings...
No one is going to tell me what I can or cannont do with my own body..

The baby's sex is determined at conception. In the first 5 weeks the nervous system (Brain, spinal cord, hair, and skin) develop. Already your baby has the foundation for thought, senses, feeling, and more!
Heart and primitive circulatory system rapidly form.:D
In week 5 the first heartbeats begin - If you have an early ultrasound you may not be able to recognize this tiny being as a baby, but there is no mistaking what it feels like seeing your child's heartbeat on that screen. That rhythmic beat is echoed in your own heart. :heartpump
Anyone who could kill this baby is committing murder.:(

gay

aren't the exact 'type' of Christian as Sandy

or your father is muslim, even if you choose christianity
pro-choice
A Christian person will only be respected for their actions. And when you show an intolerance and hardness toward people you actually lose souls for God. They don't want to be like you. So they move away from God.
Its one thing to believe a certain way and feel convictions for certain things, but its entirely wrong to show such bitterness to the people that don't agree with you.
People expect Christians to be kind, loving and forgiving as Jesus was, rather than see a person who judges, and is cold hearted at every turn.
There will be a price to pay for your words. You can twist it anyway you want, but the facts are in your posts.
And that should be a very difficult thing for a true good hearted person who loves God to live with.

I am right with God. That's all that matters to me.:)
Don't mind Lucy, she gets a little rambunctious at times.
Once you get past the schizophrenia, she's really a nice person.
If you feel in your heart, that you're right with God, then it shouldn't matter what others, especially on this site, think of you.

I haven't come on this site saying how perfect with God that I am....you have!!!
Even though I am not perfect with God, I am sure people see more love and kindness in me than you. Which means, people would in turn would be much more receptive to hear what I had to say.
But for the record, I have spent the last 15 years helping dying people...trust me I have spoken and prayed with more people than you could ever imagine.
I have never picked up a Bible and shoved it down someones throat....that was not Jesus' way and not mine.
I am right with God.
I hope so. I unlike you have done, will resist the urge to judge.

SandraMantralina;
Do you hate Kim?
I agree, abortion should be eliminated. Condoms, rubbers, adoption, birth control. If there are accidents, they should be adoptable.I agree - instead of murdering the baby (because that's what I call it), put him/her up for adoption. There are many, many couples who would love to have children but can't.
ABORTION IS MURDER - no matter how you look at it. Now, that's just my heartfelt opinion.
I do understand (not saying that I don't) why a girl would 'consider' having an abortion - like in an incest case, for instance. Let me tell a true story:
I know someone who had a child by product of incest. The girl was dating a guy who married her still - knowing the child wasn't his. Her child, a son, was her husband's firstborn from day one to four children later. They lost him at a young age - he died when he was 8 yrs. old - of leukemia. God took him when HE was ready.

I still stand by my opinion that a women who was raped should never be forced to carry a child and give birth to that child.....I know of a case where a stepfather raped (molested) 3 stepdaughters....All 3 gave birth to a child within months of each other.....the youngest was just 11 when she became pregnant then 12 and 13.......I know that it was far to early in age for them to give birth and the DR. said that it would hurt their cahnce of ever having another child again.....all the babies were given up for adoption....the mother was out of it and didn't believe the girls when they told her what had happened......If I were the parent my child would have had an abotion as soon as I found out about the pregnancy......However if it was past the 1st trimester I would not have dones so...I don't know when the mom found out her daughters were pregnant........There are times when a women should be able to decide for herself.....

I don't think any. I didn't even go to church like I should have this week. I admit that I am not where I should be with God.
I do know that I prayed with 3 people this week, 2 at their request and 1 at mine.
Remember, my point was that I wondered how many you lost this week.
Your posts are bitter. Like the one slamming the Muslim cab driver.....pure bitterness.
I see you tell us all, you are right with God, then I see you cussing in posts, gossiping, and showing ugliness toward other human beings.
(Muslims and illegal aliens are indeed human beings...Gods children. In case there is any doubt)
So yes, it makes me wonder about you...but I again I am trying hard not to judge you as harshly as you judge.

Muslims are NOT God's children. They have chosen to worship Allah. Allah is NOT God. And not another name for God.:(
I don't "lose" anyone. And no one is going to change their mind about God based on what I say on an AI message board.
Reality is sometimes bitter. What criminal aliens and evil muslims are doing to this country makes me bitterly angry (righteously so). If YOU want to support criminal aliens who are destroying this country and evil muslims who want to convert/kill us, that is your choice. Just beware the consequences.:(
And yes, you are judging/attacking and we all know why.

If there are accidents, they should be adoptable.
While I realize this is rare but law must take into account the least among us - so the 12 year old who is made pregnant by Mom's newest drunk boyfriend should carry (and be stigmatized) by "adoptable"?
Why are Right to Life people bothered by MEDICAL "choice"?
I want a woman's most intimate biological situations to be governed by her and her doctor - not by politicians or pundits.
I find it amazing when radical Right to Life people feel GOOD about blowing up clinics with people inside - I guess only the "yet to be potentialy born" have a "Right to Life"
Call me crazy.

The baby's heart starts beating at 5 weeks. Most baby-killers won't kill the baby until at least 6 weeks.
Life begins at conception.

Life begins when the heart starts to beat not conception.......well one could even argue that life does not even begin with a heartbeat....what about the women who are 5 months into the pregnancy and they lose their baby....
Next argument...

Life begins at conception. Your baby's sex is determined at conception. In the first 5 weeks the nervous system (Brain, spinal cord, hair, and skin) develop. Already your baby has the foundation for thought, senses, feeling, and more! :)
The heart and circulatory system rapidly form.

God says he knew us before we were made.
Jesus says we should work within the laws of the land (render unto Caesar).
I do support everyone's right to life. I do not support blowing up anything or harming anyone to do it.
The truth of the matter is, there are reasons that abortions should be allowed. I am not the judge of who is going to heaven or hell, and I know that everything is done according to God's plan. If God planned for a 12 year old to be raped and to get pregnant, then God will use that to do good. If that 12 year old gets an abortion, God will still be able to use that to do good.
Whether you look upon it as murder or a "choice", it is STILL part of the plan. No one can just compartmentalize every situation and decree a sweeping rule of thumb. Not for something so simple as puppy house breaking and certainly not for something as complex as this.
If all Christians walked in love, hate the sin but love the sinner, maybe we could make some real headway into this area. As long as people wave bibles and scream at the top of their lungs and shove pictures of baby entrails in your face... No, that ain't gonna win anyone over.

She can count to 10, sing her ABC's, and she surprised me a while ago. I have a flag hanging in my garage and she pointed to it and said 'flag'. Then when I asked if she wanted to say the 'Pledge of Allegiance', she put her hand on her heart and as I recited the pledge, she said it with me (not perfectly, of course, but in her 2 yr. old language and pronunctiation).
Okay, enough bragging. :)
Oh wait - one more thing and then I'll stop - yesterday evening as I was reading the 'What happened to Kellie Pickler?' post (she was sitting on my lap)and she saw the picture of Kellie, she said 'Ameri I-al' - I asked 'what' and she repeated it and I said 'you saw her on American Idol? Baby killers are butchering women and feds are shutting down their butcher shops as fast as they can. One woman suffered two strokes, a collapsed lung, massive blood loss, neurological damage, and removal of her uterus as a result of her abortion.
Feds closed 18 baby-killing shops this past year because of investigations of deaths or injury. :(
"The woman showed remarkable courage in first being willing to admit that she should not have had the abortion. We pray her lawsuit succeeds in helping to permanently close this high-volume baby-killing center."
Planned Parenthood, the biggest baby-killers, have seen significant declines in the number of its butcher shops. They have 817 now, the lowest it has been since 1987. Americans are rejecting Planned Parenthood and its agenda…:)
