So unless you are among the wealty in America our President has no concerns for the reat of the Country.......

On of the things that will start devestating a HUGE portion of the middle class is the "Alternative Minimum Tax" (or AMT as it's known). It was enacted to capture twelve (yes, twelve) millionaires who paid no income taxes. It was never indexed for inflation so next year it will impact over 23 million people. A family of four could see their tax liability almost quadruple due to this. Neither party has been willing to either eliminate or index this tax.

Now that is a shame.....too bad we don't have a very good government anymore...They take and take but when it comes time for the middle class we give and give.....the rich get richer and the poor get poorer.....I would like to have a raise I wonder how my boss would feel if I went to him and said I just decided it's time for a raise......
And everyone gripes about the price of fuel for their vehicles and labasts the 'evil' oil companies. Truth be told, the oil companies make about 3 cents/gallon profit. Look at how much your government collects in taxes on each gallon (hint, no less than 40 cents/gallon if memory serves). The oil companies are exposed to financial risk in that a sudden drop in demand or prices could eliminate their profits. A hurricane could eat a lot of their profits. But the government risks nothing and takes a huge profit on each gallon of gas sold.
Point being that in most cases where people are crying to the government to help solve a problem, the government is the problem.

Oh Sandy, you crack me up!
Oh, you were serious? Um... gee this ... is awkward.
Um, yeah, great um, presi... no, you know what? GWB has all but squoze the life out of this great country's credibility with the rest of the world.
Now the Muslims, of whom only a small faction did not like us, universally hate us. We will probably never ever be safe in our own homes again.
The middle class has all but disappeared while the wealthy are still getting richer.
Did you hear GW telling us just last week that now Iran is a "nucular" threat? How many people yawned. What if it's true? Who the hell is going to believe GWB EVER again?
**** Cheney, shoots his hunting buddy in the face and just ducks out of any kind of retribution or reprimand.
Oh yeah, the Brits are pulling out of Iraq, but Unca' **** says it's all good! A sign we are winning. We will have lost more men and women in that war than the Brits will have stationed over there in entirety after they implement the pull out. Oh, and where are they pulling out from? SOUTHERN Iraq! Fer cryin' out loud, nothing happens there, it's all the central and northern parts that see the action!
Coalition my arse, GWB went in there on his wooden stick pony with his li'l cap pistol blazing and over 3000 of our brave young men and women have died for his megalomania.
Now, lets start talking about all the ones coming home with limbs missing from the IED's that go off with regularity on our under-armored vehicles, and our under protected troops pay with their own blood.
Did you know that these brave young men and women, most of whom have no college and are so young they moved right from mom's house to a tent, they have to BUY THEIR OWN BODY ARMOR and TOILET PAPER!
We can't afford to protect our troops and now they have to buy their own toilet paper?
You go George. Oh, sorry, I got wound up. Continue playing amongst yourselves. I'm going to go have a stiff one.

I don't know where the body armor information is coming from, but in the twenty years I was in, any protective equipment, such as helmets, flak vests, gas masks, chem warfare suits, etc., were alway issued. I never had to pay for that, and I never seen anybody else have to, unless they lost the equipment, then they are responsible to pay for it.
The only thing I had to pay for was my uniforms, and I got a clothing allowance for that.
As far as toilet paper, I know for a fact, they are provided toilet paper. But, like other things provided by the government, it's not always the best quality. In fact, the toilet paper is a little rough. It's not exactly Charmin. So, alot of troops will buy their own because that's what they prefer.
I can't speak for the other branches, but I know in the Air Force, they are provided everything that's needed.

The rest of the world as in France, Germany, etc? They are not our friends. They were in bed with Saddam. Of course they're p!ssed off...
Those muslims declared war on us 911. We are fighting back. On THEIR turf. Meanwhile their friends are here in cells planning their next attack. We try to spy on them but the ACLU/libs get hysterical. How DARE we try to protect our own country??
Who the hell cares about Cheney's buckshot hitting his friend? His friend certainly doesn't.
Criminal aliens kill more Americans than the Iraq war has. Why isn't anyone screaming about that??
We have 2 big problems now: evil muslims who want us converted/dead and criminal aliens who are destroying our country. The rest is fluff.

I used to work in auto finance at a call center, when the war started you would not believe how many people were calling in to have payments deferred, or to just turn in their cars because they were having to outfit their sons, daughters and husbands/wives to go off to Georgie's war.
I then opened a pack and ship store, you would not believe how many boxes with toilet paper I sent off. I kept asking the mom's, "Don't they buy our guys toilet paper?" and they said "No, that's what he wanted!" That one may be because it was not good quality, I will grant you that one.
The chem suits were found to be defective in an amazingly large proportion, read this: http://www.sfgate.com/cgi-bin/article.cgi?file=/c/a/2002/12/26/MN48679.DTL&type=printable
Thank GOD GW lied about the chemical weapons over there, or our guys would have been toast!

To me, that sounds like a mismanagement of funds, and it also sounds like the the servicemembers were irresponsible. Servicemembers are paid well. They are given a pretty good paycheck, so if they have to depend on relatives for money to buy uniforms and other personal items, then there's a problem on their end.
The only thing a servicemember needs to ensure that they have besides the equipment they're issued, are plenty of personal hygiene items, their uniforms, plenty of socks and underwear, and this is supposed to be all put in a duffle bag way ahead of time, and not used until they deploy. so when they do deploy, they're ready to go, and they have everything they need.

Me thinks someone is quoting Al Franken and Michael Moore's talking points.
How original. Not.:(
Anything to divert attention away from the real problem: evil muslims who want us converted or dead.
p.s. "middel" class??? Sounds like first grade failed some people...

Actually, Al Franken is too dry for me, I find him boring. Michael Moore I just never followed. If I plagiarized either of them, sorry. No, I read the papers.
While I will agree with you that the muslims are evil and have a hateful religion, the fact remains that they are a lot more evil now BECAUSE of GW. Aside from what the Bible tells us, that the sons of Ishmael will always be at war with the people of God, there is absolutely no way to heal this rift before the end times. In fact... this is feeling awfully end timey.

The number of families receiving cash benefits from welfare has plummeted since the government imposed time limits on the payments a decade ago - but other programs for the poor, including Medicaid, food stamps and disability benefits, are bursting with new enrollees.
I'm wondering how much of this is from criminal aliens?

We get it, insult someones spelling errors.
Does anyone else reading this really believe that Bushy is the "Best" there ever was?
If all you're attempting to do is get a rise out of Kim just insult her directly, you'll find that it saves on the amount of time you keyboard stomp.

You can google 'reat of the country' and get pages of stuff. I honestly didn't know what she was talking about. And as much as I'm tempted to, I don't point out/criticize spelling/grammar errors. And I don't personally attack. You should know this by now.
I don't care what anyone else believes about my president. I know him and love him. And I pray for him and our wonderful country everyday.
p.s. Who is Kim?

Not me. Neither do most historians in the US, here is an amusing little piece from HNN, http://hnn.us/articles/5019.html
It is from 2004, no doubt the ratings would be lower now than then. A quote from the piece, “His presidency has been remarkably successful,” one historian declared, “in its pursuit of disastrous policies.” “I think the Bush administration has been quite successful in achieving its political objectives,” another commented, “which makes it a disaster for us.”
Here are some more recent polls: http://www.pollingreport.com/bush.htm
this site is interesting because it compiles polls from many differnt news agencies and polling services. It is also interesting to note that W's numbers are ridiculously low in areas of confidence and competency, but that the party lines are diametrically opposed.
We are not witnessing greatness at work. We are witnessing a train wreck in democracy. The man is a moron and can't even speak for himself. Remember in the debates this past election, he was wearing an ear monitor so he could be fed the answers?
"Prezeedentin' is hard work.. hard hard work"...

Who cares what the liberal drive-by media says about him? He doesn't. They HATE him and are not hiding it.
I am witnessing greatness at work: a long overdue war on terror, building the border wall, an amazing economy, freedom, happiness, and living in the best country in the world.
Democrats want to cut and run as fast as possible from Iraq, betraying the Iraqis who supported us and rewarding our enemies — exactly as they did to the South Vietnamese under Ford. Liberals spent the Vietnam War rooting for the enemy and clamoring for America's defeat, a tradition they have brought back for the Iraq war.
Bush graduated Harvard and Yale. Moron? His GPA was higher than Kerry's. He's a sincere, honest, decent man. And he's the nicest, funniest, best president we ever had.:boldred:
Oh, and the earpiece thing is an absurd talking point from Mike Moron, alFranken, and the rest of the liberal left.
Did they use rip, or crosscut?
A hacksaw actually. Can't imagine that felt very good. For people to believe this is acceptable behaviour (or somehow glorifies their version of god) is totally beyond me. Islam isn't a religion, it's a megalomaniacal worldwide cult.
Does anyone else reading this really believe that Bushy is the "Best" there ever was?
Actually, a lot of true conservatives (as opposed to the neocons) think W is a president on par with Jimmy Carter. And most conservatives believe he was the worst president we ever had. A lot of folks (I wouldn't count myself among them) thought Carter was highly intelligent. But Carter was a very weak willed individual and governed as such. The only reason we have a "Department of Education" today is because the NEA sat grinnin' Jimmy down at a table and said "Sign here!" W has a much stronger will than grinnin' Jimmy, but not the intellect (though I, having met some 'friends of the family' of Carter knew that intellect was all fascade). Neither Carter nor W are friends of the conservative movement (unless you count the conservative movement as Shawn Hannity).
