I just don't get all the killing.

I know they get virgins and all, but still. And what if they are wrong? What if, instead of virgins, they get 72 nasty old Jewish mothers who nag them for eternity? Oy vey, the horror!

That's just the tip of the iceberg. There are thousands of attacks (at least 7564) that we never hear about. One of the latest is AlQaeda plotted to kill Tony Blair in front of Queen. And Osama binLaden is targeting Price Harry who is demanding to serve on the front lines in Iraq.

No, I understand WHY they THINK killing is good. I just don't GET it. I don't understand how anyone can be that fervent about religion. I would die for my God, but my God doesn't depend on me for His existence. Maybe that's why I don't get it.

Because they think killing keeps them out of hell. The Koran says muslims have to spend some time in hell for their sins before they go to paradise and get their virgins:rolleyes: . But Muhammad made an exception for prophets (ie. himself) and for anyone dying in battle for the cause of Allah's religion.
