Although Simon can be harsh, he is usually right on the mark with a contestant's talent or lack thereof.
I feel Randy has stepped up his critisism a bit this season. I personally like that. Better for the Idol wanabe's to hear the truth and not just Paula's blubbering praise.

Paula is the cushion she makes things easier for them and I think that is a good thing.........

Randy was always my favorite, but you gotta love Simon's harsh reality as well. Paula is just a sweetie, together the three of them are perfect team.

I always like Simon the best. His blunt honesty is refreshing and entertaining.

That's right it would not be the same without all 3 of them.......They are like a tire one of them is gone and the tire will not work....a spoke so to speak...

I wonder who on earth they could replace any one of them with. Did you hear the rumor about Courtney Love? Hahaha! She would certainly be as messed up and incoherent as Paula, but I don't think nearly as sweet.
For Simon, they could get that Branson dude who owns Virgin everything. He seems like a pretty straightforward type person.
Randy... Rannnndeeee... hmmmm nothing comes to mind on that one dawg.
