yes I know, I thought Amy should have stayed. She has a nice voice and with a little more experience, she can gain the stage presence too.

I disagree. Amy was totally forgettable. I don't recall anyone talking about her as much on here as Antonella. You're right though, Antonella doesn't deserve to be there either.

for the white girls (sorry to anyone if that sounds 'racist' or something, but it's just the easiest way to categorize), the only one i care if she stays is Gina. all 4 black gals NAILED it last night (and Jordin was good too, not quite as good as the rest, but still good)...they were all awesome, so if this is on talent, we will just watch all the white ones (less Gina) leave for the next few weeks. some of them (most of them come to think of it) were downright BORING...

Idol is pretty much a popularity contest imo. Yes the winner has to sing well but whoever gets the most votes wins. (?) Unless it's fixed like some people think?
Sanjaya is a top 4 guy because the teenagers like him? Who knows?

My two girls love him. I knew Paul would leave. I really thought Sundance would be the other one. As for the girls, I agreed with outcome. Sure there could've been a couple of others who were voted off, but they only could pick two. The others will eventually be weeded out.

What they SHOULD do is have the idols sing behind a curtain, have everyone vote based on their #, and then reveal who was who in the Thursday show.
I know people think the line up consists of "white girls and black girls" but I'm pretty certain Alaina is half Latina and I would almost bet Haley is too. I think the IDOL producers were trying for some diversity, too bad those girls didn't perform well.
I was disappointed with a couple of the results tonight...
Nicole may not have been the best singer there but she certainly blew Antonella out of the water.......

Exactly. It's going to take a few weeks to skim off the fat, but eventually they'll be gone and forgotten.

Ugh Antonella needs to go somewhere fast. Her performance was horrible. I don't care how "great" she looks, the other girls decimated her. Of course Amy I knew was going, I'd forgotten about her before the show even finished.
As for the guys I defiantly had Rudy tagged but I didn't think Paul Kim would go just yet. Honestly Sundance and Sanjaya stank it up!

All I have to say is I am disgusted. Antenella should no way in hell still be there. Every other girl that sang was better. Her rendition sucked so bad and with her trying to be dramatic by sitting on a stool was such a huge joke!

That's a good idea, but then the 'performance' has a lot to do with it too (you know, the entertaining part - like Taylor was good at?) :)
