My money's on Simon. Ryan is replacable. And Simon is the reason many people watch.

That was bizarre how Ryan went after Simon??? I think Ryan needs to mellow out! Simon wasn't even near his nastiest when Ryan went off on him. I wonder what really got to Ryan?? Was it the Sweetheart comment or was there more to it??? In any case, Ryan should watch himself or he maybe out of a lucrative job.....

People intently listen to what Simon says. Many sleep through what Ryan says. A little jealousy maybe?

I wonder how bad of a arse kicking Ryan got after the show. They wouldn't let him get away with that.

"Why are you being negative?" host Seacrest asked judge Cowell near the show's conclusion.

"Unlike you, I respect the audience at home," Cowell said. "I'm not going to lie to people. You can do that on your radio show, Ryan."

Meow. This might have been fun, except you could see the fury in Cowell's eyes. And Seacrest ignored Cowell in thanking judges Randy Jackson and Abdul for their work Tuesday. Hmmm .... Ryan, that's so childish of you.

Cowell is the sharpest and most eloquent judge. But he needs to work on the diplomacy."

I tracked down and joined this site just to find out what that was all about. I sided with Seacrest, since I thought the "sweetheart" was demeaning.

For an emcee, Seacrest isn't all that quickwitted, is he? I felt he was overmatched.

In a battle of wits between the two, Ryan is unarmed...............

Maybe it's all just an act.

How foolish.

You DO realize (knowing that you don't) that Ryan and Simon are like best friends.

Ryan is over at Simon's house all the time.

He was even involved in one of those 'Punk'd' pranks on MTV with him.

All of the fighting and arguing is just an act. It's for ratings.

If you've ever watched them in interviews together - like on Leno - they're always laughing and joking with eachother.

The even pull pranks on eachother all the time.

Simon is the 'bad' guy on the show so Ryan plays that up. That's it.

End of story.

Yep! End of story. It's all a part of the script, I think.
