Yes we do. We know him. We admire him. We respect him. We love him.
He is a decent, honorable, honest, wise, man of God and integrity. I thank God everyday that he is my president.

I don't want to open a can of worms, but I, too, like my president.

He's a puppet. A coke-head. He has the orating skills of a chimpanzee. He knows absolutely nothing of foreign policy, and he will go down in history as one of two American presidents that lost a war.

History won't even be that kind to him.

Liberals usually support: terrorists, killing babies, sodomy/homosexuality, satan, welfare, big government, adultery, communism, socialism, high taxes, income redistribution, handouts, Hollywood, affirmative action, criminals, criminal immigration, gun control, immorality, blaming, anti-Americanism, and everything anti-God.

Those things you have just listed are not anti-God.....and I have never said that anything about any of those things except that my brother is Gay and he will see the Kingdom of Heaven......because Christ died on the cross for our sins.......we have been through that.......It must drive you crazy living in Minnesota such a liberal state...You can say you live in a straight jacket...but you also said that your office looks over the Lake In The Woods and I know where that is located........I think this is where your anger stems from...

"on a lake in the woods" is NOT the same as Lake in the Woods. See how things get twisted?

And that's where I am now. Next week may be on the ocean in CA.

Do you even realize what you just said.

Ummmmm, I'm the intellectual one by the way.

So if you're SMART, you hate Bush. So then, in your world, the opposite would apply if you like him.

I'm with you on that.

This is the brightest thing you've ever said.

Shout it to the masses.

Being an intellectual or pseudo-intellectual is not the same thing as being smart. Some of the most stupid people in the world are "smart." (Book-smart etc...) A perfect example is Ward Churchill the abomination of a human. He is a college professor who said we deserved 911 and the victims were little Eichmanns. What a moron...UGH... I do love that he's getting "payback" now. LOL! HA!

Sandy, Sandy, Sandy.

No YOU did spell it out. I N T E L L E C T U A L = intellectual.

You're just once again wrong.

From Merriam-Webster's Collegiate Dictionary:

1 a : of or relating to the intellect or its use b : developed or chiefly guided by the intellect rather than by emotion or experience : RATIONAL c : requiring use of the intellect
2 a : given to study, reflection, and speculation b : engaged in activity requiring the creative use of the intellect

So let's look at intellect from the same dictionary:

1 a : the power of knowing as distinguished from the power to feel and to will : the capacity for knowledge b : the capacity for rational or intelligent thought especially when highly developed
2 : a person with great intellectual powers

Now delving further into this: Intellect comes from Latin intellectus, from intellegere... or look at 'intelligent' to understand more:

1 a : having or indicating a high or satisfactory degree of intelligence and mental capacity b : revealing or reflecting good judgment or sound thought : SKILLFUL
2 a : possessing intelligence b : guided or directed by intellect : RATIONAL

Ahhhhh... guided by intelligence (smarts if you will)... skillful and RATIONAL....

interesting.

So in your book, intelligent people are dumb? Or at least it's not the same thing as being smart.

No, Sandy, there's a difference between being intelligent or smart and offering up the same OPINIONS that you share on things.

Hmmmm... who's the dumb one here?

I can go on all day by the way.

I don't care about the mistakes people make whether it's spelling, punctuation, or whatever. This is a message board. An opinion board. I'm not interested in having anyone dissect what I say. Their opinion is enough.

Making a big deal about whether someone misspelled a word, while trying to make a point, is like worrying about the deck chairs while the titanic is sinking. It's pointless.
