Randy is a flippy the flip flopper. Make up your own mind Randy... You say you have the dog pound what are you the bitch... grow a set, make a choice and stick by it.

Paula I think just looks at the guys pants and if there is a bulge she vote them on further. She has no backbone and if you think she isn't high on something some nights you need to get glasses and an earpiece. Basically she is useless.

Simon is Simon. I think he is the most straight shooter out of the threesome, but this season he has made some bad choices. Whether it is for ratings or he just wants to get a piece on the side there is something making him make bad choices.

May advice for next season is show less of the freaks, more of the good singing come Hollywood week and possibly let the American public start voting sooner and let us decide who should stay and who should go. The judges are good to give constructive criticism and their opinion but they are cutting people that should never have been cut and keep people that would totally be gone if we all had a say in the matter.

Yes, Simon is disappointing this season....

I mean, I can see why he would look at the total person, looks, personality,
talent. Wanting the total package as to what will sell commercially,
and that to him may not be the person per se with the most vocal talent..

To him it may be the girl or guy who he thinks will end up with the most pop appeal...
(like Bailey....or some of the other teeny bopper looking boys..)

But, I don't even see that in some of the poor choices he has made in a few
of his picks this season...(e.g Antonella)

They seem the same to me except Simon is not making fun of people's weight since he hurt Mandisa's feelings season 5.

Naw, he made a lame comment at Chris Sligh about being a Teletubbie.

I think the American public is getting jaded. We need those judges to shake things up a bit. I think THEY should get up and sing a song! I think Randy and Paula would do ok... Well, Paula would forget all the words and slur the ones she remembered, and Randy would just sing a Journey song.

It would be hilarious to see Simon at a karaoke bar now wouldn't it?:boldred:

I have always loved Journey but for the life of me I don't remember him at all........I remember the line up Steve Perry Vocals, Neil Schon lead guitar, Ross Valory Bass, Gregg Rollie and Jonathon Cain Keyboards, and Steve Machine Gun Smith on Drums.....I don't recall randy.......

It appears he was with them in 83 and 86, did two albums, "Frontiers" and "Raised on Radio". I had Frontiers I think. Other bands list is quite impressive: Mariah Carey, Tracy Chapman, Billy Cobham, Destiny's Child, Bob Dylan, Aretha Franklin, Elton John, Trey Lorenz, Patti LaBelle, Madonna, NSYNC, and many more.

He was also only a fill in bassist with Journey, even though he did do both the album and tour for Raised on Radio. This is all according to a site called the Journey Zone.

Well that explains it......I bought Frontiers but never went to any shows and Raised On Radio wasn't that great so I didn't buy it......

I thought it was Chris who made the 'teletubbies' comment to Simon - did I miss something?

Yes, Chris did say it first, saying "Well, just because I don't sing Il Divo or Teletubbies doesn't mean I can't sing" or something like that.... And Simon limped back at him with something like "You can do Teletubbies alright" or some lameness as that.

Oh, okay. I must have been 'freakin' out' by Chris's comment to hear Simon's. :D

The judges must have snorted crack the day they chose Antonella over the girl who was crying in the elevator. I can't wait for Antonella to go home...she SO doesn't deserve to be in the top 12. She needs to go home and take vocal lessons...or maybe pursue a porn career

But she is good for ratings and we are in sweeps now so she may stick around for longer than we thought.
