Pretty dissapointed in this season

I am very disappointed in season 6. First off they got rid of Rachel Zevita too quick. She was leaps and bounds better then the rest of these girls and she totally had a style all her own.

And they have kept more often then not people that should have been booted out. i.e. Antenella sucked. She was no where as good as that marissa and she forgot her lines. But Simon just wants her around to look at. She should have totally gotten the boot off the show.

There were actually too many mistakes these 3 so called judges made that it is unbelievable. Yet they managed to let most of the people that actually had talent go before their time.

They showed too much of the people that had zero talent and when it came to Hollywood they showed little of the people that did have talent.

That is my take on how this season has gone. I think the people of USA need to be involved sooner rather then later deciding who stays and who goes and just let the judges decide on the first round who stays and goes. After the initial round the Judges can then give their opinion but that is it it's up to the American people to decide who stays and who goes.

I agree that the decision making this year by the judges has been very inconsistent. They made it very clear during Hollywood week that if you forgot your lines, you were gone. Well, Antenella did and she's still there.

Not at all Frank. I'm no relative, don't know her nor have I ever met her. I wish I could say I have.

I just think her audition was great. To me it takes talent to sing 3 totally different styles of songs verses drolling out the same sounding stuff over and over. I find it very hard to believe when people say she was not the best singer out there this year. Yea she did have a big chip on her shoulder but in all fairness I think she earned it by being the best.

When I say I hope she does an album because I'll be first in line to buy it... I mean exactly that. I will buy it as soon as I see it and to be honest I hope she puts all kinds of different styles on music on it because like she said... you pick the thyme and she will sing it... she can sing anything; and you know what: I believe her!

So keep on keepin on Rachel!

I agree - Rachel Zevita was a great singer. During her audition, she stated she was a singer, song writer, rock star. And she COULD sing anything. She was the one in opera school - and she sang three different songs for the judges. Simon told her 'Congratulations, you're all coming to Hollywood.' (meaning her 3 styles of music). She should have stayed before Antonella!

At the start of every season I feel like it will never be as good as the
season before........because I miss the previous season people..
I don't yet "know" any of the new season people or have a favorite or
a favorite one that I love to hate either, lol...
(Well, I may with Antonella, but she may be gone before they get to
the top 12 and then I will have to find a new love hate interest, lol)

Eventually though as the season goes on it becomes better than
the season before it........though last season and Chris may be very hard
to top....
