Sung by Lakisha Jones. She was right - her singing talent is definitely a gift. Simon really liked her - said she was an old-fashioned belter and that she was 'on the money'; showed her and her daughter, Briann, crying after she was told she was going to Hollywood. I have to say - she sang that song a lot better than Katharine McPhee did (and that was one of my favorite perfomances by her).
