He knows what he's talking about. There isnt always sympathy from him but there's isnt always simpathy in the real world. We're looking for american idols top singers people with talent not people with looks or cute eyes that say "oh oh i know i can do better"
You've got the chance there and if you get to nervous better luck next year. practice makes perfect.

As I said elsewhere, I think he's overly harsh, but that's half the draw of the show. I do agree with Simon himself when he says that he's doing these people a favor by being brutally honest. There are just some people who have no business being in show business and he tells them that. Sadly, most of those he says it to will never believe it.

You know that it is Simon Cowell who is at the origin of the group " Il Divo " which has a lot of success in Europe ?

I wouldn't put him at "god" status, but he definitely knows how to work an...er..
audience. A television audience, anyway. I do agree that he is half the draw of the show.

He's not a god but he's so real and I love that about him. He is really kind underneath. It shows through I think. Being honest is good.

i think people dont like him because they think he is a jerk but if you look back he was right about 80% of the time.

i wouldnt use "god", but he does make american idol much more interesting and hes mostly always right.
