Aah that's too bad they should be proud they made it to the Super Bowl! :) I imagine the fans would have liked to have cheered for their team......;)

Coach Lovie didn't want it unless they won. He made that VERY clear to Mayor Daley.

The coach is not the only person involved though he should consider the fans.....perhaps they would have wanted to come out and show their love!!!!;)

No I do get it the Bears are poor losers! They are not graceful when it comes to losing and can't give the fans anything! They feel shame! Do I get it or not?

Maybe not so much them, the players, but the fans should feel shame for the way they treated the Saints fans! NO RESPECT! I'm glad the Bears lost - if for no other reason - because of that. JMO

It probably would've been different if the Bears played well in defeat, but they played horrible all the way around.

I agree that the fans shouldn't have treated the Saints fans that way. There's no need for that. There's no need for Bears fans to start acting like Eagles fans. Anyway, those particular fans were probably also White Sox fans, who are not very nice people for the most part. They're very angry and don't know how to have a good time, without bothering people. Now, us Cubs fans are a fun bunch to hang out with, and would never cause trouble like that. Unfortunately, we have to share our Bears with Sox fans.

I am a Cubs fan all the way!!! Goes way back to when I moved to Las Vegas and my youngest brother loved the Cubs and I wanted to talk to him so in order for us to talk I had to watch the Cubs that was all he talked about! Those were the days with Ryne Sandberg, Mark Grace, Andre Dawson, Shawon Dunston, Jerome Walton, Gregg Maddux and all the rest of them........

Ah, the good old days. They weren't always that good, but they sure were fun to watch. Especially with Harry Caray announcing the games. I always try to go up to Wrigley once a year.

I live so close to Chicago and don't get to see the Cubbies play that often....it is such a shame I think that they are America's team.........;)

I have very large Ryne Sandberg card collection. He's my favorite player of all time. Great ballplayer, and a class act. I was extremely thrilled when he was voted into the Hall of Fame. So thrilled, I bought the DVD of his induction. His bobblehead is sitting on my desk, looking at me right now. LOL
I loved Harry. I remember sitting at Wrigley, one time. Our seats were not far from the press box, where him and Steve Stone sat. We could see him sitting there, and we all had a few beers in us. About 20 of us decided to yell out in unision, "Hey Harry!", and waved at him. He looked at us, and laughed, and waved back at us. It was great. I do a very good Harry Caray impersonation, if you're ever so lucky to hear it.:D

I bought 2 rookie cards of Sandberg I gave one to my brother I paid 16 dollars for that one and I am glad I gave him that one lol he was 13 at the time and played with it......it was ruined with in a year.....mine 26 dollars and is in mint condtion still packed away!!!! Other than Sandberg my other favorite player of course is Nolan Ryan!!!!! I
I loved listening to Harry's commentary on the games I remember him talking about Jerome Walton and how either his dad or brother had been shot and killed in a drive by and Jerome was playing at his best in memory of his lost loved one........Andre Dawson Dropped by his team I think it was the Expos because his knees were bad playing on the artifical turf and he comes to Chicago and my oh my he was something else he was like a new man!

I love Nolan Ryan. He's my favorite pitcher of all time. I used to love watching him pitch when I was a kid.
Of course, this has always been my favorite Nolan Ryan moment.

The thing I loved most about Harry was his laugh. It was so infectious. I also used to love it when he'd go on some tangent about a player.
He'd always start off with, "You know Steve, here's a guy...", then he'd go on and on and on.

Oh yes I remember those too.......I remember one time Ryne Sandberg took I think it was 21 pitches he kept hitting them foul and then finally he hit a home run......but it was close it was almost foul!!!!!
