I don't hear any Bears fans talking now.

Where did you all go?

Seems that someone was on this board or has been on this board for the past several weeks talking about how great their team was.. and that Grossman was good enough.. and how the Bears were a legit team.

Well statistically they just got one of the WORST beat downs ever in the Superbowl.

What a pathetic, horrible performance by a pretend Superbowl team... with a pathetic QB at the helm.

Anyway, I'm happy for Manning but my MVP pick is Rex Grossman. He did everything he could to give that game away and played pretty much like everybody in America (outside Illinois) figured he would.

Piling on a dead horse is at best pathetic. I have congratulated Colt fans that I know. Unlike you, they were gracious in their win. I realize that My Bears were outplayed and overmatched tonight. Peyton Manning is the Man. You on the other hand......

Manning played a great game while Grossman was well Grossman (or at least what he was for half the year).

Honestly (and you know this as truth) the game could have gone either way.. but to listen to someone here (well 2 people here) talk it was never in doubt.

And besides I've taken enough from him about my Broncos.. so in my opinion it was definitely worth it to throw it back after truly a horrible (possibly one of the worst ever) QB performances in the Superbowl.

The Bears are a great team if you take Grossman out of the picture, which quite possibly Lovie Smith should have done at some point in that game.

I'm sure there will be a lot of questions being asked in Illinois papers tomorrow and for the rest of the offseason.

What a chode. A fan of the sorry ass Broncos, who didn't even make the playoffs, making fun of the Bears, because they lost the Super Bowl, makes about as much sense as if I, a Cubs fan, was to make fun of the Tigers for losing the World Series. Pretty lame.

Yeah about as hilarious as a fan of the Bears trying to make fun of a fan of the Broncos........................................... ...................

Hmmmmmmmm... since 1985 what have both teams done?

The Bears have been to the playoffs 9 times and 1 Superbowl.. a loss obviously.

The Broncos have been to the playoffs 12 times and 5 Superbowls, winning 2 of them.

I love it when a fan of an inferior team (or at least statistically inferior over the past 20 plus years) tries to mess with a fan of a statistically better team.

It always comes across so well.

PS. The Bronc's have also been to 6 Superbowls overall (the most in NFL history). Yeah it sucks to be a fan of their team.

Ha, of course I'm also a fan of the KC Royals (baseball is by far my biggest passion)....

and since 1985 they've been the WORST franchise in baseball.

Yuck. Hey at least I can make fun of myself at my own expense.

And that has what to do with this season? Talk about living in the past. I'm all about now. My Bears made it to the Super Bowl, and lost fair and square to a very classy team. I'm disappointed in our loss, but at the same time, I still remember how far they have come in the last two seasons. I am very proud of this team, and very happy with what they have accomplished. I know you'd rather me be sad and depressed over it, like Frank is, but I'm not. I'm very happy for Peyton Manning and Tony Dungy, and I can't until next season.

The Bears don't play well in the rain. They seldom do. The weather was horrible. Not an excuse. Just a fact.

Both teams played pretty bad in the rain........after the first touchdown the Colts got look at the snap for the extra point and all the fumbles.......Colts just played better!!!!

Sorry Bears fans, I thought they looked like crap yesterday compared to how dominate they had been in the playoffs and the regular season. I expected a better game from them after the domination they gave a very good Aints team.

And my Cowboys beat Indy this year so go figure.

I think if da Bears get a really top notch franchise QB, they would be a much better team. In the end, the just getting by, squeaking by QB was a big part of the difference. Maybe the deciding factor considering those 2 critical picks, one that came all the way back downtown.

We also couldn't stop the run. Other than Devin Hester, it was just a piss poor performance all the way around. But again, I'm happy for Dungy, and Manning, and also Marvin Harrison, who finally got that monkey off their backs. If we were to lose to a team in the Super Bowl, that would be the team I would prefer to lose to.

That interception that resulted in a touchdown didn't help either......

My husband was all fired up to see his Bears beat my Peyton and the Colts. Nope, it didn't go his way and he's pretty quiet about the whole thing now.

Too funny.
