Hey - what was up with Paula last night? She couldn't sit still, couldn't stay seated and then had a "family obligation" the second day of judging.
I'm not one to believe internet/media rumors, but she was not her normal self.

She uses prescription painkillers and God knows what else. She acts loopy and gets nasty hangovers. She is jeopardizing her comeback. AI will only take so much, but the gossip is good for ratings, so who knows how long they will tolerate her.
That's true, but she's since signed up for her own reality show and she's writing her autobiography, so maybe she wants more controversy - who know!
But I'm with you, Sandy, she's not doing much for her own reputation. I kept thinking last night - "you're ON TV - don't you at least fake normal for that???" Oh wait.... it's reality TV - nevermind.
I wonder why she is the only one who is not in the
AI karaoke game???

She's in my son's Playstation AI game he has the 1st one......I don't know why they wouldn't put her in the 2nd one.....:confused:
If she's not putting on an act to help boost AI ratings, then its really sad that the show isn't getting her the help she needs. ie rehab for drug addiction. Maybe the reason she was missing the second night was that she was behaving so erratically, and was sent home.

I don't know could be.....who knows maybe the contract just wasn't signed in time for the realse.....who knows why maybe they would have her saying something she didn't give her approval on.....you never really know..

I don't think that is it......it could be maybe they wanted her likeness to say something she wouldn't ever say! I don't think Paula is about money.....it is not for us to judge...it could be any number of reasons......and until we hear we should just let things be.......Imagine if it were you or one of your loved ones.........That is how I like to live my life anyway..bu t hey that's just me.........;)

It has to be something that Paula didn't like but who knows what it is I don't if I did I would let y'all know!!;)

Even though Paula looked absolutely goofy in that interview I would miss her if she left the show. It wouldn't be the same if anyone of the judges left. They all pissed me off with the Bush baby comment but I still enjoy watching them. I think with all of Paula's criticism she has become more of a useful judge. She isn't sickly sweet anymore. I like it that she is now just saying no when they discuss if the individual is going on to Hollywood. Before she would sugar coat it but now she just says no! I like that much better.

I agree but the bush baby guy was way out of his league auditioning. It's for "American Idol." Not America's weirdest/looking. He could not possibly have thought he could win. If he did he was deluding himself. Sorry, not pc, but true.

Those Idol auditions that we are watching now how long ago were they taped? Were they taped weeks/months ago before we viewers see it? Or are they pretty current?
