the girl that sang 'let's give them something to talk about.'
she had talent.
She needed some help getting her singing 'straight'... but she sounded pretty good and at least deserved a shot.

I know.......I was very shocked! Jonathon and I play a game where we decide before the judges and we usually get it right but with Nicole we were wrong!!!!! They should have put her through!!!!! I thought she was better than Castro!

Well for one thing I didn't think she sang Opera! And yes I liked her better than "Castro"........but that's just my opinon.......:p

nobody said anything about taking anyone over someone else....
but I'm willing to bet when 'Hollywood' rolls around that we'll all be sitting in our chairs going...
'she should have been there over that person.. and ummm that person... and even that person... and DEFINITELY over that person.'
the judges were wrong. she deserved a chance. it's probably the first time that I've watched the show that I really thought they were wrong.
Well other than when they let Taylor through (but then Simon was right)....

I agree, I thought she was pretty good and should have gone to the next round. Hopefully we'll see her again next year.
This is just another example of the judges inconsistency. I think their voting is based on their mood, how comfortable they are, whether it's just Coke in their cups, etc.... I've seen them pass on good people and put through mediocre people. It actually makes me question whether they're put up to certain votes by the producers. Just a question.

This time it was just Randy and Simon......Paula was not even there! I wonder if she had been if things wold have been any different.........

I was wondering what would happen if Simon and Randy disagreed when it was just the 2 of them. Who would have been the tiebreaker? I would have LOVED to see them disagree so passionately that they got into it. BIGTIME.
No physical fighting or anything, but just a really good, passionate discussion.
Then kiss and makeup. (Not literally.):D
