Why does the music industry throw superbly talented artists into the trash-heap. I am tired of seeing so many of my personal favorites being forced out of the business.
There is no reason why people like Milira, D'atra Hicks, and Vesta Williams are not still at the top of their craft. These are all women who have an abundance of talent and appeal.
D'atra Hicks is just as, if not more, talented than Mariah Carey. Her vocal style and range is unbelieveable. In my opinion, she is more talented because, not only can she belt out those notes that reach the rafters, she can take her range lower and growl and moan with the best of them.
If you have not had the good fortune of hearing her sing, I urge you all to listen to her single "Everything I Feel," which I believe was released in 1989.
Her other accomplishments include her work in the Broadway production of "Mama, I want to sing," and Tyler Perry's "Madea's Family Reunion."
I urge people to check out her music and see the Tyler Perry Plays.
