You won't be for long!!
I think if the Philly Cheese Steaks D shows up they can beat the Saints. I think that's the toughest game to call of the weekend. I hope the Bolts stop the Pats, but unfortunately I think NE wins this one. Should be close because the SD D is no slouch. But the Pats always play their best in the second season.

I'd really love to see the Chargers go to the Superbowl, and I really wish they'd wear their throwback uniforms more often.
I think Philly will stop the Saints. I think Philly really has their act together.

Frank, we're just going to have to cross our fingers for the next game. This isn't Mike Singletary, Dan Hampton, Richard Dent, and the '85 Bears Defense. This defense is going to need some help from up above.

I was at work yesterday while the game was on, but several of my patients were watching. I was able to see plays "here and there" but was WAY to busy to sit and watch.
I'm glad the Bears won!!!!! But they need to bring some defense to the next game if they plan on winning.

I'm just enjoying the moment. It's our first playoff win in 12 years. Other than that fumble, Rex Grossman looked great. Especially that long touchdown pass. If we lose, I'll be highly disappointed, but hey, we're in the NFC Championship game. We're one win away from the Super Bowl. Two years ago, who woulda thunk it?

"Must...... Fight........His.....Control!" "Can't resist"......."Yes Master"
"What Bidding do you require of me Master?"......Oh Never mind
Anyway goofball, it's Sucks, not suks! Get your spell check warmed up would you. And I agree with you, New Orleans will score at least 77 points on Sunday afternoon. The Bears have no shot. They are what you thought that they were, pretenders.

Six teams found a way to beat New Orleans, including the sorry Redskins. So, we have a shot. Other than their won-loss record, the Bears' and Saints' stats are pretty even. The Bears are not pretenders. I don't care what what's his name says.

This is a public service announcement.
In the previous sentence, the highlighted 'yes' was incorrectly posted.
The correct usage would have been to capitalize the word since it is at the beginning of the sentence.
Thank you for your time.

It should be hard fought, but I think the Aint's having the better QB probably gives them the edge. The Aints are capable of being extremely impressive, they destroyed the Cowgirls, of course Sean Peyton probably knew them backwards and forwards which was probably the main reason.

I"ve heard its a birth mark.
Speaking of, ever notice that big scar on Tony Romo's neck? It looks like either he had throat surgery once or someone tried to slash his throat.

Hmmm.... let's see.
Tougher division which equals tougher schedule? Saints
Better QB? Saints by FAR. 96.2 to 73.9 passer rating.
Better RB? Saints... twice... again by FAR.
Better WR? Tossup.. neither of them have a true superstar.
Better overall offense? Saints. 391 to 324 ypg. ppg were virtually the same but that's indicative of a weaker schedule for Chicago.
Better defense? Tossup. ypg allowed is virtually the same... ppg again favors Chicago by 5... but again indicative of a weaker schedule.
Intangibles? Saints. Better coaching. Better overall players.
Verdict? Saints stomp Chicago and make them look foolish... which if you look at most of the 'polls' on ESPN or anywhere else is what the majority of the country wants.

Well, if the Saints do win "The Ditka Bowl" this weekend, I'll pull for them to win the Superbowl. After all the Bears went through this year, with all the injuries, Tank Johnson deciding to live the gangsta life, and Grossman's inconsistant play, I'm just thrilled they even made it this far. It's kinda nice to be the underdog, actually.

I think that it would be nice if the Saints did win after the year they had last year with no home..... But I know you and Frankie are die hard Bears Fans and I have a good friend Randy that also is so a little part of me is still pulling for the Bears....;)

Yeah, regardless of the outcome, I'm very proud of this team. Lovie Smith has really turned them around. As far as Grossman is concerned, even though he's been inconsistant, He's probably the best quarterback we've had since Eric Kramer, and that was over 12 years ago. We've had a long stretch of bad quarterbacks. I think Grossman will be alot better next year, now that he has a full year as a starter under his belt. He's got a great arm, he just needs to work on his decision making. I'm really looking forward to what Cedric Benson does next year. I think he's going to be awesome.
Of course, I'd really like to see my favorite player, Brian Urlacher get a Superbowl ring. After all he's accomplished, and what he's been through with this team, that would be sweet.
