There's a blog going on in Houston to come up with a new theme song for the Texans. Given their U-G-L-Y You-ain't-go-no-alibi loss to New England in week 14. In keeping with the 'song lyrics' threads going on in other chats, I'm interested in what you think could be suggestions. So far I've thought up:

"Schock Treatment" - The Ramones
"There's a Tear in My Beer" - Hank (Jr. or Sr.) or "The The"
"Crying" - Roy Orbison
Or maybe that "You Had a Bad Day" bit from AI

Others? (and I already thought of "Loser" by Beck).....

The Houston Texans are a rather odd group of men who put on football players uniforms and pretend to be NFL players. They're really guys who played in marching bands in college but truly pined to be on the field. They have no athletic ability nor coaching/game plan. But for some reason they've managed to con the NFL into having one of their teams show up week after week and put on a one-sided football demonstration. I think the NFL is attempting to use this in an educational manner to go along with the "You'd never make it in the NFL" advertising campaign..........

You are really very funny! I do think that with time the Texans will have a good team.........maybe even a super bowl team. They just need to get some good players. I don't know anything about the owner maybe he needs to invest more into the team.......:D

Thats a pretty good way to put it. I haven't looked at the stats but is Houston or da Raiders the worst team in the league right now, gotta be one or the other.

Actually, I think it's the Lions. Matt Millen needs to go. It would be nice if the Texans became competitive someday.

I think they've worked their way up from dead last from last year to about 4th or 5th worst. And the Lions have a better 5 year record than do the Tex-can'ts....

Well, the Lions have had alot more practice at being mediocre.

True. They're far more consistent at sucking than almost anyone else. But given the fact this is only the 5th season for the Tex-can'ts the five year comparison is the best we can do. This team is becoming "Detroit South".
