Sorry the Steelers won last year, but suck this year.
Its still possible the Boys will be there, if they start to play like men instead of cry baby, whining primadonna, rap star wannabe D00$hbags.

I think the Cowboys have as good a shot as anybody really in the NFC does... but I do believe that the Chargers are the class of the AFC... at least right now.

Good to see another Bears thread turn into a thread about the Cowboys, the way it should be. Its all about the Cowboys and how they can get there. Dont you think the Bears and Aints should just forfeit their games in order to make sure the Cowboys get to the SB as the way the universe actually intended.

That's why I'm so glad parity took over. I used to hate it when it used to be either the 49ers or the Cowboys in the Super Bowl. Now, with the way things are set up, you hardly ever see those teams in the playoffs anymore, and that's awesome! Another year without the Cowboys in the Super Bowl, is a good year for me.

Well, since these Cowboy fans like to stick their nose where it doesn't belong, here's one of my favorite games in Chicago Bears history. I defining moment during the '85 season.

in 40 seasons of superbowls. It has come to my attention that you have begun a full scale attack upon my "Monsters of the Midway". I would like all Cowgirl fans to realize that I am shooting a preliminary salvo over your bough as a warning shot.
If you persist in the continuation of "Talking Smack" against the "Historically Greatest" NFL Franchise ever I will be forced to "UNLEASH HELL" upon all of you....

well then, i shall digress, and in my digression, refrain from further mention of historically accurate information regarding the historically greatest nfl franchise to ever reach the superbowl once (...in 40 years). :biggrinje

You're right, we only have one Super Bowl victory. However, The Chicago Bears have a total of 9 World Championships. The NFL started long before they started calling it the Super Bowl. The Chicago Bears have a total of 26 hall of famers. The most of any team.

Pretty impressive numbers, indeed. Until you put them in perpective. The superbowl started 40 years ago. The Bears have been around for 86 years.
Still not bad numbers though. That means they've won 10% of all pro football championships since their inception. Although the Cowboys have been in existence for about 45 years and have won 5 championships (that's 11% since their inception).
The Bears are no doubt a good team this year, and their roots run deep in the NFL's history. But they're definitely not the New York Yankees of football.

So how many Championships does Dallas Have?
The only good thing that the Cowboys from Dallas have been responsible for are these fine Dallas Cheerleaders....................

Well, I've never been a bandwagon jumper, and I'm not going to start now.
I would have to say that the Green Bay Packers are the Yankees of football.

yeah, they're probably the closest to it anyways. guess that's why lombardi had the championship trophy named after him. they won 12 championships and are the only team to ever three-peat... and they did it twice.
despite my shenanigans here, i actually have a lot of respect for the teams of yesteryear... the bears, the packers, the colts, etc. their logos/mascots have been around since the beginning of football time. and like i said, that's when real men played real football.
