Wow, is this the first team in history (da Bears) to go this far with this bad of a QB, just goes to show you that the QB slot is not the be all and end all. Da Bears seem to be winning despite having a horrible QB. I know Rushy is cursing him frequently, I wonder if that is going to come back and bite ya this year, I tend to think it will in the playoffs, crucial INT at a bad time or whatever.
Rushy what are your other options? Is it Greise? How does he look? Ya'll got anyone else? At least the boys don't have that problem at the moment. But despite things da Bears will probably have the #1 seed bye for the playoffs, barring some total meltdown, which I don't forsee. Have I said How bout dem cowboys lately?!?!

Well the Raven won with Trent Dilfer. So, who knows?
No, I'm not a Grossman fan right now, and neither are most other Bears fans. I keep hoping for a season ending injury. Griese would be a much better option. His decision making is much better. I watched him in preseason, and he looked really good.
I don't know why Lovie is standing by Grossman. It's really annoying. Normally, he doesn't wait too long before making a switch. If he doesn't do well this week against St. Louis, then he definately needs to make a change.
With our awesome running game, defense, and special teams, all he needs to do is manage the game well. He doesn't need to throw for 300 yards a game. He just needs to quit committing all these turnovers.
Oh well, at least we're winning. Which is more than I can say for the Giants. I'm glad we don't have their problems.

Yeah but Eli had decent stats this week with no INTs. But Romo looked more like a clutch player that leads the team down the field when you gotta have a big play, he did it. I would take Romo anyday over awe shucks, golly gosh gee, we lost again Eli.

What cracks me up about Eli was that he was so adamant about not playing for the Chargers when they drafted him. He insisted that they make that trade with the Giants for Phillip Rivers. I remember being so mad because I didn't think he should have the right to choose which teams he plays for. He was lucky to get an opportunity to play in the NFL. He hadn't even played a down yet, and already he was dictating what team he wanted to play for. I thought he was just using his Manning name to get what he wanted. I remember telling my boss the next day that I hoped he totally flops in the NFL. He didn't want to play for the Chargers because back then they weren't very good. Now, the Chargers are a better team, and Phillip Rivers is the much better quarterback.

Hey, perhaps the Texans can trade Gross-man for Carr? Then again, in that case I'm not sure who would be getting the raw end of that deal.

Actually, Carr looks like Joe Montana right now, compared to Grossman. Although Carr had a bad game against Oakland, he's had a pretty decent season this year. His QB rating is 87.4 and he's only thrown 7 picks this year. I've watched a few of the Texans games this year, and he's looked pretty good. I think if he was on a good team with a good running game, and better receives, he would be alot better.

Carr gets the high QB rating from all the short dump off passes he throws in 'trash time' (when the team is down by two touchdowns with 2 minutes to go and playing against the second string defense). Very poor pocket presence. He would have been benched except for the fact that our #2 QB was injured on a tackle on a missed FG attempt. This weekend there will likely be more folks in the stands wearing Titans jerseys (for Vince Young) than Texans regalia. Carr repeatedly fumbles and has poor pocket presence. If he's the QB here next year it will be REAL easy to get tickets (if you still want them) to a Texettes game.
