did anyone see the cowboys/skins game? holy crap, what a pathetic absolutely disgusting awful terrible horrible stupid idiotic dumb (did i mention absolutley horribly pathetic) way to lose a game. and I ain't talkin' about the blocked field goal...
11 penalties for ONE HUNDRED FIFTY-THREE YARDS??? WTF???
2 HUGE dropped passes by that knucklehead moron T.O.
and poor coaching by the coaching "god."
#1, you absolutely cannot have that many yards in penalties and expect to win. and false starts are stupid penalties... they shouldn't happen. they kill drives and professionals shouldn't be making those mistakes. you can argue crowd noise all you want, but crowd noise shouldn't affect your ability to "watch" the snap!
#2 Okay... up 6 to 5 in the second quarter... why on earth would you go for 2? sure the little chart says go for two so you'd be up by one field goal (8 - 5), but it's the SECOND quarter!!! that early in the game, if you're worried about the game coming down to that few points, that says volumes about your confidence in your team for the remaining 40 minutes in the game. if the cowboys had simply kicked the PAT, they could have simply run the clock out after the 1st WAS field goal attempt in the final minutes.
#3, i don't care if you think it's funny that the press has reported that you're sleeping in team meetings, so you decide to take a little "snooze" on the football in the endzone after a score. T.O., you bumbling idiot, you cost the cowboys 15 yards in penalties with your infantile shenanigans, then proceeded to drop a ball right off of your brick hands behind the secondary. then dropped another after taking four hacks at it and bobbling it to yourself as many times. this isn't beach volleyball. you're the laughing stock of the NFL now. you cannot showboat, if you're going to drop passes and help lose the game. idiot.
#4... come on zebras... learn the difference between a 15-yard facemask and a 5-yard facemask penalty. it absolutely was the final deciding factor in this pathetic imitation of a professional football game.
okay, i'm done. anyone else see what i saw?
by the way, kudos to Tony Romo, who, despite the crappy team around him, did a fantastic job on Sunday.
