View Full Version : How 'bout them Cowboys!

Well, the Cowboys won in a rout, T.O. had three TD's, and the Redskins and Eagles lost. I guess everything is good in Cowboy land. Things are tight in the NFC East.

yeah its going to be a marathon, the Giants are no louses either so they're another team to deal with, but things are all even at the moment, the cowgirls will have to beat the Eagles on their next game, the Giants next Monday and they need to beat Carolina after that, so its going to be an up hill battle. They're schedule is still real tough.

Houston sucks but a W is still good to get. The only light ones left on the schedule are Arizona and one more weak team forget, but other than that its going to be tough. The skins are about the only team they don't have to stress too hard about in their division, but they only play them one more time. And they still have to play the Colts to boot. Tampa and the Lions are also the only 2 weak teams. But they have to play the Saints and the Falcons, both of which will be tough.

Well TO did real well yesterday, I'm not sure how things are going to go if they don't get the line to totally protect Drew, cause if they don't its probably going to go real bad for them. Drew is a statue. He can't even walk from here to there, even Houston sacked him. They took the game off of CBS when it became a rout so i didn't get to see Romo play but he came in and threw another TD to TO. They'll be fine if they keep winning but of course thats a huge if. It could really just go either way. The Cowgirls could step it up and dominate the division or the Eagles could continue and beat them again on their next game.

One thing though if they do come out as division winners with that schedule they should do well in the playoffs.

Yeah Drew has got to learn how to get out of the pocket but still T.O. thinks he's the best thing since sliced cheese.....

Yeah, he is really good, one of the TV guys was saying they thought he was the best WR out there right now, and he may be right, but he still needs to keep his mouth shut and stay low-key. He can help them though if Drew can just throw it up and he can go above any defender and catch it like he did Sunday. Although him slipping and falling on his arse was kind of funny, it was raining and real wet, I guess he didn't have the right cleats on at the time. I think he can be an asset if he keeps himself in line, most peeps don't think he can though and think its going to turn out like it did in Philly, hope not, but we'll see.

It started off very scary, Houston was up 6 to3 at half, but they came back in the second half and scored 31 points to 0. TO got 3TDs, and Romo played but the weirdest thing happened where I'm at, CBS took the game off at about the start of the 4th quarter, I am assuming because the game was turning into a rout and they changed it to the Skins game which was dead even 22 to 22 at the time. It really made me mad, i thought about calling my local CBS channel and complaining. I've never seen that happen before.

I think just about anybody would have looked good against the Texettes on Sunday. I think the marching band even managed a field goal at one point. The Texettes I fear are trolling for yet another (wasted) #1 draft choice this season.

And think how much it would've sucked if the Cowboys actually lost to the Texans.

You should look at the Chronicle this morning. I don't think one person has one positive they could find anywhere in the performance of the Texettes from Sunday. They're truly a horrible team. Don't think I've watched any of their games this season.

Yeah I'm glad I'm not a Houston Texans fan, but I'm really glad I'm not a Raider fan, now there is a disaster. I'm not sure if Houston played really good the first half, or if the cowgirls played really bad, I'm leaning towards thinking the cowgirls just played really bad.

From what I've heard it was a combination of poor play in the first half by the Cowgirls with a total collapse of the Texettes in the second. The Cowgirls finally woke up in the second half and decided it was time to really show up and play.

Don't lose heart, this will go down to the wire, with the Eaglets losing this weekend things are basically tied in the division. It will either be the Cowboys, Eagles or Giants to win, and more of a possibility that its the Cowboys or Eagles. Just depends on how things play out, mainly in the upcoming division games. And it depends on who steps it up. If the Cowboys step it up, they will be there in the end. Its a coin toss right now what will happen.

Well, it looks like the Cowboys have thrown in the towel for the rest of the season by putting in Romo. It looks like the G-Men are the best team in the NFC East. I predict the NFC Championship game will be between New York and Chicago.

I agree its a little bleak at the moment, but I think Romo was a very good move, at least at this point, they had to ditch Bled-Slow, he is just not usable anymore. They need to win out the next 3 road games, if they do that they're right back in it, if not, probably out, but we'll see, remember Any Given Sunday......

I blame this whole thing on the offensive line. The Cowboys' offensive line is horrible. Yeah, Bledsoe isn't mobile, but he hasn't had much time to throw it. That's why you get real good linemen to protect him, so he can throw it down the field. Bledsoe is a much better passer than Romo. If they would've spent some of that money they gave T.O., they wouldn't be having the problems they're having now. Alright, that's my one post for the day. See ya!:outtahere

What a great game! Tony Romo is the real deal! I was very impressed. I knew he had alot of potential, but I didn't realize he was this good already. He looked like a seasoned veteran out there. You can tell he has a great chemistry with T.O. The Offensive line was very much improved this week. They wore out the Panthers defense.

They played like a well oiled machine last night! I think Bledsoe has lost his job... Tony Romo was awesome!:) I really liked the play when the boys were going for a fieldgoal and the Panthers coach called a timeout. The Pathers had blocked the Boys Goal attempt but they got to try again and made the goal!!!!!:)

SEE?!?!? Just keep the faith, looks like the boys are back. What a difference one player can make sometimes. I'm not totally positive the O-line is all that bad now, however, it is still probably their weakest link, for they are pretty solid everywhere else. They should be 6 and 3 at the end of this road stretch, the REAL REAL tests will be upcoming games against the Colts, Giants and Eagles, if they win all 3 of those they should be in, for most of the other games, they should win (that is if they play as good as they did last night).
