must add, he did the Dolly gala last night and then sped across town to the Ch.10 studios to sing Taller Stronger Better there, different orchestra. No time to change out of his gear so still had his casual jacket on.

He was just brilliant, somehow each performance seems to be lifting a teensy bit. Marcia and Mark gave him standing ovations but the audience had stood before they even got up, those contestants already lucky enough were just grinning and shaking their heads and Kyle, who doesn't stand for anyone but LOVES Guy (keeps saying he's the best thing, the one and only etc) had a grin from ear to ear.

HI there, so pleased you got 'em. Don't know whether you can view the dvds, but you should be able to, esp. if you have an 'all areas' player, or laptop or similar. (you did get 2 packs taped together, I hope)

Guy certainly has something in voices. I didn't get to send you his old stuff - and having a look at your siggie, I will try and do that. My PC is going through a tantrum and won't acknowledge the disc drives at the moment. But I have some wonderful gospel, going back to 1997 - one can see how he's matured in his delivery. He was keen on using his voice as a musical instrument then and it was a beautiful voice.

Now, I think because he's branching out into different areas, that beauty is slightly changed. LOL. I liken his present voice to cream, with a shot of brandy in it, and dusted with toffee powder. Its how it comes across to me !!!

Ooops - just got my alarm going, have to go tape something.

I think Guy's future is, well... where he will go, will be where he is meant to go. Naturally (as we all do with our fave artists) I hope the world would have a chance to hear, but if not - then he will obviously be meant for something else. I can never see him giving up his music, or singing, but his heart, his soul if you like, is very much like "my best mate is God".

I've seen him sing "I Surrender All" - sooooo incredible and lastes for ages, and then into "Falling in Love With Jesus" (Metro Church Launch) - but he was still in the first zone, and after the first bit he handed over to Carl, and turned to look at him (his lead guitarist) and one catches him doing a quick cheek wipe while he gets his emotion to come down a little, before he continues.

Then again, LOL.. we saw clips from the Video shoot on Thursday, and Juice, his stylist is bending down trying for the 'classy shirt semi-tuck' in his belt, and he grins, with a ton of cheek, "She loves it down there!"

I rather suspect he and Taylor would get on very well together.

Yes I did get both of them taped together. I haven't yet tried to watch the dvd's I have been under the weather. I will hopefully be feeling better by next week! Thank you soooo much. I understand why Guy is so big in Australia! He does have an Awesome voice :luxhello:
