Did anyone see Bonds tie the Babe's record on Saturday? I was sitting in a Red Robin restaurant eating lunch... totally forgot the game was on. Looked up, saw the game on the TV and just happens that right then, Bonds steps up to the plate and crushes #714 to deep right center.

Game's on at 7:15 tonight on FSN. I'll be watching and waiting...

I don't know if you noticed this or not, but nobody really outside the Bay area really care what he's accomplished. I think it's sad because he is a great hitter. Whether you believe he's on steroids or not, there were hundreds of players on steroids that didn't even come close to what he's accomplished.

First of all he didn't break any record, he just moved into second place behind the record holder. Secondly, Bonds himself admitted to using steroids in his grand jury testimony. I do agree with you that he is a great hitter and that hundreds of others also used. But he is such a jerk/tool that nobody cares.
