new judges - who would you choose?

Sometime in the past week I read a thread about what annoyed us the most about AI. There were a lot of gripes about the 3 judges. I know there have been recent contract renewals, but if there was a way to replace Tweedle Dawg, Tweedle Ditzy (or Drunk, take your pick) and Tweedle DownRightMean, whom would you choose???:cool:

Hey, can Sos and I have a job? I could be Paula, cuz I am sometimes nice, sometimes feisty, and sometimes drunk! SoS could be Simon, cuz he wishes he was anyway (hehe) and could be all mean and critical, and make the girls cry, and I would slug him and be all, "You are a jerk! And why did you leave your towel on the floor, AGAIN!" We would bicker, as many couples do, and make the show all about us (aren't we so arrogant?) Then, Randy would jump in all, "You know, Dawg, I think it's cool that he left his towel on the floor" and I would say, "What do you know anyway?" And he would say, "Dawg, are you wasted again?" and SoS would say, "How dare you speak to my galfriend that way (because he would have a British accent)" and then we would fight to the death and the audience would forget that the show is even about singing........................................... .................................................

Or, we could ask Madonna to join.............................................. ..

I honestly can't think of any.

But I do know one thing...I do not want Jessica Simpson!

I heard earlier this year, during the Paula scandal that she'd be replaced with Jessica Simpson...really....isn't that like trading a tnt stick for a nuclear bomb?

well my favorite judge is Simon he doesn't always get it rigth but most of the time i agree with him.Randy is mellow he's nice but he speaks the truth.Paula omg she should just leave she flirts with the guys contestents (and well i neve noticed this before the scandel).Anyone could take her place.

wow, Glady's was back in season 2, I remember her saying there was something very magical about Clays voice. Last year there was only Clive that I can remember, Season 2 and 3 they had lots of guests, Ashford and Simpson, Neil Sedaka, Quentin Tarantino (quite what he knows about music is anyones guess, but there you go ) Barry Manilow, Donna Summer, to name but a few.

Clive Davis doesn't need to critique, he screws things up enough with his song choices for the contestants.

The point I was making was that in previous seasons' he has been a judge as well as choosing songs, I just wondered why it was different this season.

I really can't see any other judges sitting in for the three stooges. I mean..Paula befuddled me througout the season, but if somone like Jessica Simpson filled in...I'd literally kill my tv. So compared to the other singer/entertainment personalities of today, Paula is tolerable. And I do get a laugh when she makes those crazy remarks.

OK, funny, see the idea forming. James Lipton, as himself, or as Will Ferrell as himself, is hilarious! He would be the best, especially if it was Ferrell as Lipton as Idol Judge. Cruise, however, can just go straight back to the planet from which he believes his alien alterego self origionated. No bueno!

One sees a woman here, although which woman is uncertain. Perhaps Charo? She is a bitchen flamenco guitarist, a huge personality, has a great rack, and yells about cuchi! What's not to love? I've disliked Simon from day one .Guys, His harsh remarks to contestants are not justified. Some contestants are early teens, some have their -heart- and -soul- in every note. Also, todays youth[9,10,11,12, yr olds] are watching AND LISTENING ! Simon's rude remarks and actions are not what you want your children mimicking ... or is it ???
