All good things come to and end. How many more years do you think the show will last?

i think the show will go another 3 seasons. NO show lasts forever....except the Simpsons i guess haha
I think a good 3-5 seasons more. It's HOT.

Until that stops, Idol will contintue to be on the air.

as long as the ratings are high...if they show singns of falling into the toilet then so will the show......

Have the ratings over the past five seasons steadily increased? I thought I'd heard season 3 or 4 went down and now they're back even higher for season 5.
If that is the pattern I can see it happening again, and the show could easily last another 5 seasons and go out with a big bang for AI 10. :D

OH my ga how could you even ask a question like that? For most of the epople in USA music is all that keeps us inspired........ as long as there are al lot of viewers ........ AI willl be on for a long period of time.
