No, I think they have it right--With their block of votes and with the Soul Patrol Taylor should make it to at least final three. Does he have the pipes to be there? In mho NO. Nice guy, average voice, super personality--all the ingredients of a big fish in a small pond, in otherwords, a very successful lounge singer in B'ham or even in Vegas.
I think even the VFTW site realizes that Elliott, more talented but without the huge fan base, will probably go next...unless someone really screw up a performance.

I disagree, I think his music sales will be outstanding and concerts will sell out.
