Who's autitioning for the next Idol?

I would love to to audition!
I'm a professional musician but I want more than playing cover songs in Vegas casinos.
But there's one big BUT...
In their contest rules it states that a contestant must be a citizen or a permanent resident. I am not a citizen yet, but I am married
to an American and I am permanently living in the US . I have satisfied all of the immigration requirements, but have not yet received the official paperwork .
I wonder if any of you guys could give me a hint where to email? Cuz I sent like 15 emails to their official addres but of course they don't answer.
Do you guys know if I have to physically have
the paperwork with me? Will it be a problem if I don't?

I heard that the audition process can take up to a week depending on where you are in line...
The auditions in Memphis are going to be held at the FedEx Forum.. I think that they have an event there on Friday, 9/2. So, considering that factor, do you think it would be safe to to assume that they wont let people start to line up until that Saturday, 9/3??

I'm thinking about going to an audition, I'm not sure where I'm going to o for it though. I don't expect to win or anything, but it might be a good time at the audition.

Honey, I know! I'm coming from VA! That's why u have to check idolonfox.com constantly b/c they will update it & let u know how early u can get there. I'm not traveling that far & not even get an audition b/c I wasn't prepared!!

Oh yes you need to line up really early.Probably like in Vegas a good 10 hours of waiting.But it is really worth the wait.You can work on your songs.
