I thought Jacob was fantastic, as was James. Scotty, now I love Scotty, but I thought he wasn't that great. Lauren was average but Haley was great. Casey was pretty good.

I haven't watched yet, but THR's comments make me fear an enormous trainwreck tsunami, raining blood, the whole works. These duets sound really funny, and the chosen songs don't thrill me at all. Did the judges say that everyone was great? Did Randy contradict himself at least four times? Did Tyler fall into his dish of porridge? I will keep an open mind (and a quick finger on the fast forward) and admit if I'm wrong on any of this.

The duets are always terrible. They can't sing together. The dogs howl at the moon when they do the duets but James did a great job tonight, (I loved Jacob,) and Haley was good.
