I really like the top 5 and I feel Taylor might be the least talented BUT.....
his 2nd song last night was really... really... really good.
Anyone else like it?
By the time the show got that far I was too bored to continue watching. I gave up and went out to walk the dog. In other words, watching a dog 'go potty' was prefereable to the show last night......

I really liked both of them, actually. I thought last night was a really good night for him.
As for the others, Katharine was weaker than usual on the first song (and she knew it) and her second song was, well, just odd. I liked Paris' cover of Prince, but didn't like the second one. I liked Chris' first song, but he definitely chose the wrong song for the second one. Shinedown's a great band, and I guess maybe it was the best one available for him, based on the Top 10 charts, but it was obvious his voice was strained. Elliott did really well on both songs too, IMO. I have to agree with some, that the vibratto does tend to be overbearing sometimes, but all-in-all, he's a great singer and he's the most consistent performer left.

 I guess I am the only person in the country who thinks that Taylor is basically a Hotel lounge singer--Yes the Beatle song was good, but it was a Beatles song after all and not even a current song.
I think Taylor should be in the bottom three based on talent (little talent). In a way I am hoping he win it all so that the Taylor heads voting hundreds of times each week will either have to buy 35 of his CD's or watch him go down the toilet.

I agree with midol. I thought Taylor was mildly entertaining in the beginning but it is really tired now. Yes the second song was good but it was a good song it wasnt talylors singing of it. If the judges were consistant they would have ripped Taylor for not being as good as the Beatles. I think his career will be limited to bars in Bama just as it was before the competion. Oh, and "play that funky music" an abomination. It really sucked.
