In what seems like legitimate reports X-Factor uses electronic manipulation to make some contestants sound better and others sound worse. Has AI ever used auto tune on live performances?

I don't know if AI has ever used all the electronic felgercarb to make someone sound better, but I can think of a few contestants we wished they'd used it on...........
