Will Canadian Idol be on next year?

I've heard a rumour that CTV will not extend the contract for another season.

Anyone else hear this?

I haven't heard anything about this... but I don't think they will give up on it... I'm sure Canadian Idol will find a way to continue... maybe on another network if they have to...

I think CTV is the network which airs CI. I don’t see them giving up on such a successful show

After doing some research I found out yes CI will be on in 2006. The auditions will start in Edmonton and ten other locals this month in February here’s were I found that out www.ctv.ca/idol/gen/Home.html
